BTW! The mindmap software we used to make a system map for our therapist is called Mind Meister. It's a free website we found through google:

Our system has an alter that has a role called the “messenger.” This alter is responsible for interacting and passing messages between alters

I 100% percent understand creators taking time off any time or stopping to contribute online, but I really can't put into words how ridiculously happy it makes me to see new videos of yours. Really put a smile on my face and made my day.

I don’t think I ever realized that not everyone in the system has direct communication with each other. Thank you for making these videos I really have learned a lot from them ❤️

I was recently hospitalized and I met someone who struggled with memory loss, blackouts, hearing voices, and other symptoms like those. I'm so thankful that your channel has taught me about did and dissociative disorders because I was able to understand their symptoms, be patient, comforting and treated them with a level of kindness that I probably wouldn't have if I didn't know so much about the disorder. I know it's been hard, but I really thank you for the work you've done in destigmatizing and bringing awareness to dissociative identity disorder. You're all doing a great job :)

I have ADHD and autism so I completely understand the type of dissociation you are talking about. It is really hard to focus and keep a train of thought.

When Kya yelled "what are you doing?" at Seraphina...my cat turned around super guilty 🤣 I love your content and am happy to see more and more creators setting boundaries!

I don't have DID personally, but I'm addicted to these videos. They create a really safe atmosphere and as a Psychology student I'm fascinated by how DID works and as a human, find how alters learn to live with it so inspiring. :D

I’m epileptic and the way you described the “metal door” is exactly how I feel during a minor seizure or before a full blown seizure. I always described it as a wall in my brain too. It’s probably not related but I just thought that was cool

I’ve heard a lot about Mara but I don’t think she’s ever been formally introduced. Do you think we’ll ever meet her in the future?

Your videoes opened up a world to me I had no idea existed, or could even exist. I've watched enough videos now to sate or get rid of my skepticism. Now I am almost reeling. The more I understand the more questions I have. I won't ask you for various reasons, but I just want you/your system to know, that you are making a difference. I am WAY more informed than I was, and that can only be a good thing.

So, it may sound a bit odd but as someone with severe diagnosed PTSD with long dissociative episodes:

respectfully, I would love to hear how Sally is doing. however, only if she is comfortable & wanting to share, I found her to be very comforting in her meet the alters video & often find myself wondering how she is doing. If she is not, I hope she is doing amazing & wish her the best!!

An update on the system would be lovely, I think - obviously just to whichever extent you feel comfortable, that is. And/or maybe just a general update, maybe a kind of cozy "chat" of you talking about anything you would like people to know...

For those who are reading this, dissociation happens which many conditions and there is no one way to dissociate. Dissociative disorders are not the only disorders that cause dissociation. ADHD, autism, sensory processing disorder, anxiety, headaches/migraines, chronic pain, PTSD, and trauma can lead to a person dissociating. The cause can be physical and/or neurological and/or mental. Dissociation can effect sensory input.
