To start with, she looks nothing like 91😳 she looks as young as 60 years old. And she has the body, the energy and the fitness of a 30 year old person. I’m left speechless. I’m 61 and I go to the gym 5 days a week. I do weight n cardio for two hours. I was literally asking myself today until what age is it considered to be safe to go to the gym once we start aging n this video pops up😌Thank you for sharing the video🙏🏻 I will continue with my gym n my with my fitness until the last day of my life even if I’m 💯years old🤪🤓

Yes, I agree strength and flexibility training, together with home made foods are important for longevity. I said to someone at the gym that age is just a number, where strength and flexibility are concerned and got a response that it is not, when you get joint pains due to arthritis. We I have osteoporosis, ostearthritis, 2 hip opearions, the last one about 18 months ago. I had sciatica pains after that. However, within a year, at 68, I can say my strengths and flexibility is increased from what it was in the past 10 years or so. I have always dine plenty of exercises, like body pump, body combat, attack, hiit, pilates and yoga apart from some gym workouts. But 10 years ago, I stopped running and exercises slowed down due to hip problems, one after another. But now I am almost like this lady in the video. Bravo for her. I am going from strength to strength. I am hoping to teach classes soon, hopefully this year.

The key thing is to not be hit by a medical catastrophe, such as a terminal illness. Then by eating nutritious foods, (avoiding or limiting manufactured foods), and getting regular exercise (strength, balance, cardio-pulmonary), getting regular good quality sleep, and staying "engaged" in life and living, you can have a high quality older age. My grandparents were a great example for me and my siblings.

In my case, I' ve been a professional ballerina trained at the Vaganova School during the Soviet Union period (mind you...🤦🏻‍♀️😅), nowadays a teacher, our life as a pro is bloody short, and I' ve NEVER seen such an inner pelvic mobility and flexibility at this age especially bearing in mind that puberty hit her without exercising. Even her insteps ar arched AF!!🤯 I know some 80-90yo ballerinas but, hell, their body started being brutally modified at 4yo. Definitely, this creature is a winner combination of CGTA, centuries of nutrition and mental determination. Let' s add one more injury to my destroyed body: a broken jaw😝. I also was recently impressed with Jane Fonda, Sally Field, Dolly Parton,.. and a couple of Hollywood's older stars that are doing amazing things. Yet not nearly as young as you used to be. 😳 I have to admit I am inspired by this woman, and I was already thinking of joining the gym across the street from my house. It's good to have wonderful people in our lives, and then it does come down to us engaging with Life itself, for the direct experience itself. No one can enjoy the in/out breath of air for us, or the sun on our skin, or the wind in our hair....

A year ago, I discovered about her from Japan TV show. She is incredible. I am 65. That is the age she began exercising. I watched all of her KZread shows. How does she do it? Keep your body moving every day. Don't sit chair for the computer/Internet. She eats Natto beans every meal, white rice, vegetables, wild-caught salmon (her favorite), red meat, and red wine. No junk foods. She takes her tooth diligently. Be happy and positive, and have lots of smiles. Try not to have stress. And best of all, you have to believe in yourself. Never think about your age. If you feel aging daily, you will get old physically and mentally. Don't mind what others say bout your appearance and age. Because she genuinely believes that age is just a number. At the age of 65, life just began. Thank you, Mika. I love her.

I'm 73. I wasn't obese, but definitely oveweight when I moved to Florida 8 years ago. I lost 20 lbs my first year just by walking and bicycling everyday a little bit. I was stuck at that weight for 6 years, still seriously overweight but enjoying my bicycle and walks. In 2022 I started intermittant fasting and cutting carbs and added a really light exercise routine of 15 minutes.. I lost another 17 lbs. Takishima really inspires me to up my game again in 2023. I have figured out that you don't have to make extreme changes to seriously improve your health. You don't need to spend hours on extreme exercise like Takishima does. As she says, the ticket is really enjoying what you do. Me? I'm adding 15 minutes of dancing with the various routines I found on KZread. I think that'll be fun.
