We've done the Alaska ferry back to Washington with our camper and dog(3-4 days). On those people can't stay in the rig, but they do 'deck calls' where you're able to walk your dog(has to stay in camper) so they can do their business. My dog found it quite confusing that I was encouraging him to dump on the boat, but he eventually figured it out. Was that an option on that ferry?

We did a portion of the Alaska Marine Highway too! Our dog couldn't grasp the concept of going on the deck either and just held it until we could take her off the boat. Baja Ferries is a similar set up I believe where you don't stay in the rig and can book a room. I'm not sure what their pet policy is though.

what about Air conditioning ? We have watched a few vids but no mention about it.

Hey Sara - we highlight the install of the air conditioning in this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/oal-taOof7DHmbA.html Since we spent the summer in Alaska we didn't get to fully test out the AC until recently as we are making our way further south in Mexico. Once we have another month or two of using our AC unit we will make a video going over our thoughts. Thanks!
