Take Him Down, Win $500 vs Strangers (Venice Beach)

I challenged strangers in Venice Beach, California to take me down for $100 AND to take down a State Champ wrestler for $500.
For those curious - I wrestled for 3 years in high school and I'm a blue belt in jiu jitsu. Josh has wrestled his entire life and won a state title his senior year of high school.
Huge shoutout to Dylan Palacio - he's an All-American wrestler for Cornell who inspired the tear away shorts / singlet and the entire concept of this video.

@@RyanJuliano Hey Ryan, can I share a story with you? One day I was driving home, when all a sudden the Lord came to me in spirit. I felt very close to Him. I knew if I asked him to play any song on the radio he would, I guess to bless my faith. So I said "ok, Lord play "Come as you are by Nirvana". I turned on the radio and the song started playing right there on the spot, perfectly… I started getting flooded with chills like a waterfall, crying, and trembling. He stayed with me for 10 minutes in my driveway. until I got outta the car. A couple months after that I started getting amazing prayers answered way more often, because it helped me quit doubting when I pray and I was lined up with biblical instructions. It's 6 years later and I still get answered prayers in Jesus name.

I have a judo background to a fairly good level (but have trained with Olympic level) and used to challenge friends to this type of thing when I was growing up and it was always one sided just like you saw in the video. However judo is always with a Gi, with a Gi Judoka has huge advantage, without Gi, the wrestler. It would be interesting to see if Olympic level bridges the gap. It also depends on the country the guy competed for, his level might not be that high if he's from a country with a poor level of judo

Legit a great video. As well as for men to understand how hard grappling is. And how much of an advantage someone with knowledge has in hand to hand combat. Loved this video guys.

Wrestlers the most brutal dudes! My dad Candidate for Master of Sport of the USSR in freestyle wrestling. He is 60 now, but he's still very strong, and I've always been impressed with his tackle. He told me that in training they used to twist weight plates with their fingers, which made his fingers very strong and therefore his grip.
