Props to them for putting in the work and making a boss character playable and not completely busted. Hope they bring back Ancient Ogre in Tekken 8 tough. as DLC.

As a dedicated True Ogre player, it was truly fun playing the character just for his overall cool moves and heavy damage.

I wouldn't say that he was THAT bad, Bronson got to the GrandFinals of EVO 2013 and only lost against Knee

I have no idea what he was smoking. Character was super annoying to fight and was no where near weak. Green orge sucked but not this guy.

@@nayyarrashid4661 ancient ogre wasn't as good as true ogre. For starters he didn't have the range on a lot of moves that True Ogre has. Ancient Ogres launchers were generally worse than his as well. Even though True Ogre's main launcher got nerfed it was still pretty good. Having a long range mid launcher that deals abnormally high damage being only -10 is pretty good.

Really wish this game had double the amount of health per character.

@@burgerking8157 With the added mode that was exclusive to wii U, about a third of the health to another health bar added, and the outfits from Tekken Blood Vengeance we'd have a solid sale. Slight tweaks like Angels back dash being fixed would be nice, but I wouldn't overreach for balancing. It would not be a good time when Tekken 7 is so prominent.

Even though it's not all that good, Ogre doing Kuma / Panda's Triple Hammer looks super badass.

Nice video! Ogres were/are the best villains in Tekken history and just awesome design. What a shame Namco dumped Ogres.

The odds are pretty low of seeing True Ogre in Tekken 7 at this point, but all the same I'd love to see him come back in a main series game. Him and Ancient Ogre. And Jinpachi. Ah, wouldn't that be a nice DLC bundle...

I thought you were going to show at the wall his ss4, fc d4, ws1,2 pick up. At the wall, ss4 becomes a launcher. Always found that pick up funny.

Add this character in tekken please. Forget Bruce, Angel, roger Jr. Add ogre dude. Such a sick character he was my first character I really liked. Him and devil jin. Make this character like B tier but below A tier dont make him super cheesy but make him good. Take out devil jin up 4, steve unblockable, give him costumes especially. Dont pull a fucking negan and have no customization. Make this character completely new in my opinion. I love ogre but I feel like they could make ogre really good with the tekken 7 system.

Yeah this video was kind of silly. It didn't really seem to detail how true ogre is bad, rather just how he's bad in _comparison_ to his tag1 version, which was completely broken. Which... Is a good thing..? No character should be absolutely busted and broken..? Not being broken doesn't equate to bad. xD

Well the original comment still stands, claiming it's mid tier is not detailing how it's mid tier. But honestly I'm not even sure why i made this comment. Lol. I already thought he was weak cuz he doesn't even have a launch punish (pretty sure, i was looking through his movelist but i haven't done a super thorough job yet) and this video further convinced me he's weak. ...Though then again Steve doesn't have a launch punish either and he's considered really strong but whatever.

You can't bruh. But you can use cemu emulator to play it on pc. You can download the rom or buy the wii u disk to play it. I can run ttt2 on my potato pc pretty smoothly. 60+fps most of the time. Gtx 750ti,core i3 3220.

This character was incredibly fucking annoying and was by no means weak. Horrible unfun nightmare to fight. Bronson won a tournament with ogre/jinpachi.

Weakest boss in Tekken series in my opinion.
