Build plans available here: www.etsy.com/listing/976539293/table-saw-workbench-plan?ref=shop_home_active_1&crt=1 I wanted to answer a couple common questions: My table saw is a dewalt DWE7491RS. It comes with an arbor long enough to hold up to a 3/4 inch dado stack. Let me know your thoughts on the build, and what add-ons would be helpful in your workshop.

I'm considering building this next week. Your friend stopping and looking at the camera a couple times cracks me up.
Clamp is your friend, but you do need a real friend in woodworking. 🙂
Awesome video! He is a natural. I'm just amazed at all his talents -- doctor, author and wood craftsman!
Nice build! We all need a friend like Howard!
Thank you for the clear instructions! I love how you explain how to problem solve if you do not have the “idea” tool. I will enjoy watching your channel grow.😊
This is exactly what I have been looking for! I do all kinds of tinkering in my shop but need to make the most use of space. Thank you!
This is a great build. I am just laying out my small shop space and this is very helpful. Nicely done!!
Outstanding job. I have the same table saw and will do your build. Thanks for sharing.
Great y'all! Thanks for sharing this build!
I am happy I found this video. I've been looking for a well built, nice looking, table saw including work bench idea for a while and I think this is the one!

This is great. Your mitre is the same as my first one that my mom got me. I REALLY appreciate you showing how everyone is human. I’m planning to buy this same table saw and I love how the big space is an empty slate for shelves, dust collection, or a router lift. I’ll be buying your plans soon! 😃

First of all, kudos to Bob Barker and his awesome and indispensable contributions to your bench build. I have a King Charles that keeps me sane in my shop. The simplicity of this build makes it just that much more special and repeatable for someone like me. I'm finally going to be purchasing my table saw this winter and have looked at several integrated benches and really like the approach you took with this one. You have enough lapping of the joints to insure good stability without getting outrageous with some of the mystery puzzle piece joinery I've viewed on others. They are beautiful and clever, but at the end of the day, it's a workbench and I don't want to be afraid to work on it. I also like your solution to leveling and mobility, like the rest of the bench, it's simple and effective. I wanted to pass along my thanks for taking the time to explain and clearly demonstrate the build ... you even disclose a Mulligan or two in the process. Very few of us can get through a complete project like this error free ... it's the human thing to do ... including it in the video gives the rest of us a bit of confidence knowing were not alone. Consider me a new sub ... Cheers my friend ...
Already bought the plans from Etsy when I saw and watched the video. Looks like exactly what I wanted for my new garage shop, looking forward to building it myself.

Great work. Keep the videos coming. There is no video content that can not be improved by a dog. Well done Bob.
Congrats on completing this! well done!
Just purchased your plans on Etsy and picked up lumber. Excited to get started, thank you!! I know this was a lot of work.
honestly one of the best videos I've seen about making a workbench, Definitely going to be getting the plans once I make space in the workshop..

Anthony, I wanted to thank you for your excellent video and plans. I built my first workbench following your plans (with a few modifications) and am very happy with the result. Recently we replaced an old wooden garage door with a new one, and I recycled all the plywood and 2 x 4s from that door (more than 40 years old) and did not have to buy any wood for the project except 1/4" masonite for the top and some trim. I doubled 2 x 4s instead of using 4 x 4s for the legs, and I eliminated the drawer, as I thought that space would be good for storing a cross-cut sled, and I plan to install a router plate at the end opposite the table saw next.

Awesome! Glad it worked out well for you, and the money savings with the repurposed wood is really nice right now. I originally planned to put a router plate on the opposite end as well, but somehow I ended up talking myself into making a stand alone router table instead (I just finished that project, and will have a video for it). Both ways work great
Crikey. That is some workbench mate. Love it

That was a good video. Great build and very nice walk-through, especially how you made do withOUT some of the ideal tools.
That's an ENORMOUS bench.
You got a great friend right there. Very nice tablesaw bench.
Thank you for making this video. From Bob Barker to your thumbs up friend, this is hugely helpful. After saving enough for the DWE7491RS your plans will make a perfect outfeed bench for my next project.
Anthony, the bench is complete now, except for more drawers. I intend to enclose the sections I don't have drawers going in. Great videos! Keep them coming.

Hi Anthony, This reminds me of when I made my dewalt table saw bench, yours is a great build, nice and solid and a nice video to watch, thanks for sharing 👍🏼
Such a nice shop deserves such a nice table. 👍
Classic woodpecker 👍
Really nice. Have the same saw and been checking out the dozens of ideas out there any in my mind this one is the cleanest.
Great build and video man. I'm currently making a plan for a table similar but with a router table on the opposite end and with wheels on it because my space is limited. Plus I have another table that pulls off the wall that will attach to make a flat 4×8 work surface.
I just bought the same table saw and I’ve been searching for ideas on how to set it up in my shop. Thanks to your video I’m putting together a plan that I think will work great, but first I need to to finish my shop. Thank you, I subscribed and liked.

Love it. I might just build one
I just downloaded the plans and have started construction. My shop is a 2 car garage, but because of needing an additional repair bench(business) and a reloading bench(hobby), I'm a little constrained on space both storage and working. my plan is to shorten your plan by 2', which only requires the length dimension change and to add a shelf to the long open end to double storage capacity under the bench. My saw is the same as yours so no further modifications will be necessary. it should be a fun build. Great plans.
I love that workbench bro! That is exactly what I need in my garage

GREAT build. I am in a one car garage and this will work for me. I like the fact that the 2X4's are on the inside of the legs so you have a place to clamp projects. Pro Tip, make the saw frame loose and adjust it to the finished height with the saw on the base. The only thing I will add is dust collection for the saw, it spits sawdust EVERYWHERE! !! !!!

Right on!
Good work!!
I made an outfeed table and cut ~1” holes in the bottom shelf above those adjustable feet, so all I need to do to adjust is stick a screwdriver (or drill for large adjustments) in that hole to adjust the legs - no lying on the floor adjusting in cramped spaces. Just a suggestion!
great job!!!
Howie you are the Man!
Looks great!
As a non-track saw buyer myself, I bought a 100” cutting guide to go with my circular saw. I got the Kreg one and it works well but I saw a better option at Home Depot for like $30. It’s only two pieces of aluminum so less error when joining the two tracks than 4 with the Kreg.
Got the plans, thanks for putting it together. I had the same idea but was too lazy to make plans. Thank you...

I really like the bench!! So much so, I bought the plans. I'm going to make additions to your plans and make miter saw station on one of the sides (remove the saw and add a top to cover the shelf the miter saw sets on) and also install a bench wood vise opposite end of the table saw. I think I'll add bench dog holes on the end by the vise, too. Thanks a lot for the video. It sparked thoughts of "grandeur"...at 3 AM out of a sound sleep! 😁

Nice! (my only suggestion would be to use 3/4" plywood for a base then recess screw a 1/4" piece of plywood on top of that for the finished table top. easy to replace the 1/4" when the time comes. :)

@@woodpackdiy Cheers, yeah I currently have 2 benches built to the sides of my garage as I have a sloped/graded garage. But where decided I want to disassemble those for more vertical storage on the sides instead and then a bench on Casters I can move around as needed or push to the back of the garage in the winter when I park in there.
fantastic duo!

That’s a great bench. I’m making a very similar one for my workshop at the moment so it was very useful to watch you build yours. I especially like the laminated 3/4 ply top. Pretty sweet table my friend. I’m searching for ideas to add in my new garage. I think building this table will suffice my woodworking needs. You should add a nice stain or even polyurethane to the top of the table. It will both help glide your future cuts along as well as protect it over time. Birch is durable but pretty soft which could dent up over time. But hey you built yourself a pretty great mobile table for a 1/3 of paying for one. Well done to ya boys!
