Interesting, I'm amazed how much sideways force can be put into the little blocks in such a short time.

the saw cuts MUCH worse cutting out of the grain (like when cutting tenons). It would be interesting to see a comparison of the blade cutting with different grain directions.

So cutting with the length of the wood parallel to the blade shaft? If you have any cool ideas and would like to try out one of these cameras on your channel, let me know.

Have you filmed a metal-working lathe with that thing? I think it would be really cool to see the chips being produced in high-speed.

I'm going to do a video (or a few) on cutting tools cutting improperly (chatter, etc), because all the slo-mo of cutters on KZread is marketing material so it's always working perfectly.

hey. i saw on your Kickstarter page that you're using a helicoil in the bottom tripod mount. I am a mechanic with a lot of experience with helicoils and wanted to warn you that they have a bad habit of loosening up and backing out with repeated use. i quit using them myself for that reason and i really don't know how long one will hold up in that application.

You can use a Nikon to C adapter such as this: www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/577757-REG/bower_va304_c_mount_for_nikon.html Do beware of the crop factor which is between 2.5 and 4 depending on which sensor size you compare to.

tesla500 hello. thanks for the answer. well all my lens are full frame and i own 20mm 1.8. 24 1.4. 35 1.4. 50 1.4 . and etc. the smallest apperture i got is 2.8 . so even cropping i will be covvered with the widest ones . and take advantage of all my lens and of the sweet spot .but my hoby is macro . a question, adding a adapter will be more difficult to focus to longer distances ? presuming will act like a extension tube . thanks

The adapter won't affect focus, it places the lens at the correct distance from the sensor, the same as in a normal DSLR camera. You can easily add C mount rings for macro photography as well.

Luxima just sent me some shorter wavetables to try out, that should get down to 480, or maybe even 320 pixel width while maintaining full pixel rate.

I thought about that, but didn't think the camera would look too good compared side-by-side to a $100k Phantom. They'd probably also want some tens of k$ for such a promo on a large channel like that.

THESE LIGHTS ARE NOT SAFE. we used one on a production, our hands got burned from the stray Microwaves they produce, also a couple guys felt sick after a few days. that's why they cannot get proper approval.
