@@ultraboy2669 They all seem unpleasant in some way. The daughter is a liar, as is the mother, who I seriously think she's hiding something, though perhaps not the stereotypical affair. The father, oof, his need to defend his daughter and wife speaks to a desperate, to be blunt, simpish character, who's probably being played like a fiddle by all those around him.

Seeing he was serving drinks in the usa most states and even cities require you to be 21 to bartend so she should have assumed he was 21 not 18.

The wife definately knew how old the guy was. Also, the daughter has been sexually active with the mom's knowledge or permission. This wasn't the first guy. The dad is not being too harsh. This girl is going to be pregnant soon.

A 16 year old can legally drink wine, with a meal in a restaurant setting, if adults are present (UK) You cannot purchase alcohol at all until 18 years. Pubs like weather spoons who have tables for food mixed in with the general drinkers do not allow alcohol under the age of 18 at all...
