Runs aren't really what makes a great singer. It's his tonal quality, the strength he can sustain throughout the whole song and that he can Change the notes on the fly shows he really knows music theory. He knows how to lay the notes he improvises on the fly accurately. That's! Impressive. Anyone can do a "run"

This is the truth. The reality is, his autotune is very difficult to do, he talks about it, it’s not just singing and auto tune, you have to sing “incorrectly” in a way to get his unique sound. He made a unique sound that is instantly recognizable, and created some of the greatest hits in hiphop and RnB, and is considered one the greatest hook writers of all time. This singing is beautiful but in many ways, not nearly as impressive as his “regular” sound

I first saw this a few days ago. I felt hypnotized! As i child my mom was a huge teddy pendergrass fanatic! Even at that young age his performances gave me goosebumps. That’s how I feel right now! Even in Harold Melvin and the blue notes he sang lead so often that There was no way to deny his talent. It seemed to come so effortlessly and he put every ounce of his soul into his music. Tpain is now my teddy!! I can’t stop watching this! Music has moved me to tears sometimes. Idk how or why. My mom took us to the opera when I was young. I teared up but I had no idea why? I hid it and was too embarrassed to mention it, A couple years later we went on a class trip to see Peter and the Wolf. The orchestration blew my mind. I began flute lessons immediately. I played for years, practiced religiously. I was honored with first chair the entire time I played. Idk why I moved away from music. It brought me the greatest joy, always. I’ve been in a slumber musically for quite some time. Great music really brightens any day. Jazmine Sullivan and sza have great natural and pure voices. I enjoy them. Music just isn’t the same. I’m 52 so there are so many incredibly popular songs and artists that I just don’t get. My true inspiration came from bugs bunny and old cartoons when I was really young. I always felt soothed by the music composition. I didn’t even know what an orchestra was. I loved the way it made me feel. This is the first time, in a long time, that I’ve been blown away and awestruck. His range, runs and all of his very soul flows so purely, genuinely…it is second nature to him. It’s so weird finding out this late in the game but better late than never. I am just delighted to have been introduced to his pure talent. Sorry to run on and on but you must know that you’re not alone. I can’t count how many times a day I’ve listened to this and now I’m going to binge watch the masked singer he was in right now. 😉 I’m hooked and it feels GOOD!

He's been working on his craft and getting comfortable doing the Thangs that some folks never thought he would or could do! Things you've never seen anyone else do, the w-a-y that T-Pain does it! People, please pay close attention to T-Pain and watch him continue to blow your mind! Trust and believe! It's a ton, of new T-Pain to come! I can guarantee you that...💯% I KNEW, the first time that heard T-Pain, I told my crew, that young Brotha is extremely versatile, creative, and far more dynamic, than Auto-Tune. They didn't agree with me. I was giggling in Jamaica! 🇯🇲 When I first heard T-Pain. All of my crew said that he will toast, in a couple of years. Boy, do they all look stupid now. T-Pain, I am sure you've heard that noise before. Just look at all of the folks with egg 🥚 on their pinholes Now!! Continued fun and success My Brotha. Keep 'em guessing, on their heels and doubting You! I understand a little bit about, how You gauge, interpret and progresss, the music that's in your head and bring it to life. I am sure that's why I Love, appreciate and respect what you do. Especially when you hit 'em up, with a totally different, R-E-A-L Straight KILLER! ERRR'BODY bobbing their Noggins!! Looking forward to seeing you soon, My Brotha. Hakeem 🥁
