    Great videos for anyone like me who’s really trying to master the Synthesizer V software. The company tutorials are a decent start, but they’re just too rushed which makes it difficult to learn a lot from them. Please keep creating these!

    Superb, thank you. I've been dabbling with similar (import/export in standalone mode, then render to DAW) workflow. The BR and HH are new to me, and I haven't yet gotten good at working with drawing parameters, so watching this has been extremely helpful. The little gray SIL box that sometimes shows up between notes? It always sounds better when I get rid of that, but maybe I'm missing something.

  • @mixphantom0101

    @mixphantom0101

    Жыл бұрын

    The SIL box is "silence" that Synth V automatically inserts when clips don't touch. I use a Wacom pen/tablet so drawing is much easier. I've been doing less pitch drawing now that I discovered that using "takes" can reduce the vibrato (or at least change it!). I feel as if there are many more mysteries to unlock with this software!

Although the only issue is I'm new to the app itself, and it isn't easy to find a tutorial about the app. Most tutorials are 2 years old and I believe a lot has changed within the app since then. So, if you can create a tutorial series from beginner/starter to advance/end that would be really cool! Subscribed and looking forward to the upcoming videos :)

    You have probably figured this one out already but if you set the chain link between the pencil tool and the pointer tool and then set up the pre-active letters ( i have mine set to 1 and 2 ) then it makes it easier and quicker to flip back and forth between pencil and pointer. for editing pitch or editing length of note.. sorry but it wont let me put in screen shot here.

    Hi there. Thanks for your effort. Really appreciated. Maybe you can help. If I grab a group of notes to move them to a different location, maybe one bar earlier, it changes the pitch of the whole group. Is there a function to freeze a group of notes to move them around without the AI changing it? Cheers

    SynthV/Solaria likes to span the lyric 'our' over two notes. What's the easiest way to force it to stick to one note? I'm writing a sentence on the first note and then writing + on the subsequent notes for a phrase.

  • @VoyagerOfTheStars

    @VoyagerOfTheStars

    Жыл бұрын

    If you use Ctrl+L while you have the notes of a phrase selected, you'll be able to enter the lyrics of the phrase, and it'll separate the words out for you! You will have to add +s between each word with multiple syllables however, as it doesn't detect that, but with this method, you should be able to keep "our" as one note by just not putting any +s between it and the next word. Alternatively, I believe "our' is considered two vowels (ae er, I think? I may be wrong, I'm currently away from my computer to check). You could also enter in "our" as /.ae er/ (with the slashes) so it keeps it together. That should work with entering all the lyrics in one note, but it is better to enter each word separately, either all at once with Ctrl+L or individually.

    I don't have any troubles running Synth V as an instrument in Cubase. I find the limitation of being unable to drag a Cubase MIDI file into Synth V whilst running inside Cubase makes it a pointless exercise. If Synth V was ARA2 compliant, I could see the benefits... but it's basically running as a standalone on top of Cubase without "the" crucial feature.

    Thanks for the video. I understand this technology is revolutionary in this time but I do want to address an issue with their policy. Once you use the software and let’s say produce a song with it, the company says that in order for you to release it you have to feature the voice of the software you where using. Why is no one mentioning this. Cause that would stop a lot of people from purchasing or using this product. Why do I have to mention the name of an AI synth? I don’t mention the name of the software I use in the song title. Please address this point.

    I'm not sure this is the case... my reading of the EULA is you're free to use their voices in any sort of production but are prohibited from renaming the voice. So, if you've created a song with DT's "Kevin", you can't release that song with vocal credit to a different name (like your own name... or a made up name). Not giving credit appears to be permissible.
