In synth v, when you have a multi- syllable word, you can input a "+" on the note to have it break up the word appropriately. So "nothing" in the lyrics editor should be entered as "nothing +" this will result in the "nuh" part of the word being placed on the first note and "thing" on the following one. This applies for any number of syllables. For instance, to sing the word "forevermore" across 4 notes you'd enter "forevermore + + +" also enter a "-" to have the syllable carried into the next note instead of breaking it up. Just wanted to bring this up in case you weren't aware!

Synthesizer V (AI Vocalist) is an excellent software, I liked it more than Ace Studio AI because it is not a subscription (which is a shame in the case of Ace Studio that I really liked), but Synthesizer V (AI Vocalist) is acquired with a single payment for a lifetime license, which gives me security for my works. It's been a month since Ace Studio moved to the Spanish language. I don't know if Synthesizer V (AI Vocalist) can convert audio to MIDI as accurately as Ace Studio does, I haven't seen a tutorial on that, and I'd like a demo of it. They even did the conversion with a voice extracted from audio with certain audio leaks in the background. The secret is that Ace Studio does not rely on the audio waveform to transform to MIDI, but on the spectrogram of that audio to capture the strongest notes, so there is no typical mistake of introducing weak notes. I don't know if Synthesizer V (AI Vocalist) has, in addition to emphasis and tuning with formants, includes breaths and falsettos, as well as raising and lowering the volume (vocal nuance), I hope Synthesizer V (AI Vocalist) has it. Another thing that I would like Synthesizer V (AI Vocalist) to incorporate is the personification of the voice, that is, that of the user themselves. Ace Studio, based on a suggestion of mine that I sent them in an email that I sent them and the creator himself responded to me, I asked them for that and they did it, but in an unethical way. Instead of incorporating it into the software, they have the user train the voice on their platform, but in order to train, they must authorize a permission where the voice is kept by them, and that voice remains in their collection of voices, where the user does not gain nothing for it but they do. It seems horrible to me. I was disappointed when I saw my idea used in a way other than how I suggested it, which was to incorporate it into the software. It's a shame, I was liking that software.

Game changing software. I've been using it since last November and with practice and making use of all the features at your disposal you can really get a professional sound that nobody could tell was synth generated.

I never thought about this, but this tech will help keyboard players to write better melodies for voice. I can tell you when the keyboard or guitar player wrote the vocal line on their instrument. Usually this is discovered during recording. Now you can face your own shortcomings in the safety of your own bedroom. 😂

thanks this was very helpful. You seem to have more fun / luck with than I did. The interface was frustrating with the transport etc... Their video says you can resize the work space with the "mouse pad" but without that I wasn't able to make the work space bigger with right or left clicks. So I had to enlarge the entire screen to see lyrics. My song had a lot of short words which were less pleasant to hear than your demo. I finally got to like the Naezom (?) voice by softening it. Still I'm not sure it did what I hoped. To substitute SymthV for my terrible singing voice.

Excellent tutorial. Do you know if it is possible to render a representation of the midi notes in the main logic instrument to show it is populated with notes?

Is there a way to make Kevin refuse to sing when the lyrics are too asinine?

Thank you for this demo. It would be interesting to hear what happens when you swap out one voice for another. I went to their site; it's unfortunate they seem to focus on personality styles and production in their sample videos rather than focusing on demonstrating the ranges of the voices themselves, making it hard to make a selection as to which voices to purchase.

I'm late in answering, but you can check out different videos on KZread that show off ranges. Most vocals should have a cover of the range test (either high or low). I think there are also quite a few videos that show off the vocal modes (but take these with a grain of salt, they use the same song every time even if it isn't suitable to the voice). The ones I've seen come from a user called deadbyte

I like the pitch correction aspect of synth V, but do you think the vocal quality is as good as a speech to speech AI like Vocs AI or similar?

The voices are super good! Can we make our own custom voices with this software? From audio samples, for example?

No synthV only has premade voice banks that you can purchase but there does exist software where you can make your own synthetic voice like utauloid and deepvocal albiet not to the quality that synthV or any other professional vocal synth has

I get a "Disconnected" window when opening the VST in Logic Pro

Not precisely, but you can make it sing in your style with the script SynthV's HP Real Voice, where you can record your voice with the pitch variations of your choice and input it into SynthV

No and its not the intention of the product; and is very unlikely to happen. Third party companies will develop the voices and teach the AI themselves using the technology provided by Dreamtronics. Also mind you they are a Japanese company.

Care to share how this loads into Logic Pro? I downloaded it and it can work as a standalone but does not appear in Logic Pro anywhere. Anyone else experience this?

Yep, Since these voicebank have three languages and a lot of phonemes, you can actually make them sing in many other languages.

@@Browniedaysthis is slightly misleading Yes there are a lot of phonemes that can be used to imitate many languages, but there is no currently full Spanish support outside of Eclipsed Sounds’ SAROS Voicebank. You can use Japanese and English together to try and best sound out Spanish.

AI Vocal Synths wont replace real singers bc companies PAY their voice providers and, unlike the other type AI Singers, these vocal synths are consent by the ppl who voiced them, also its considered as an instrument to the ppl who cant sing.
