We truly miss him so much, and we wish if he's still alive. But it's fate. Death is the ending of every living human, regardless his/her position, religions, and nationality. He is alive in our hearts and our minds. Still we keep his words in mind. But our current king Abdullah the second is mostly like his father. Hope that my beautiful country will be safe.

I remember seeing the Clips on The CBS News about their impending Marriage. I was stunned that she was going to Marry this "Old Man". I was 12 I knew nothing at the time. Queen Noor (born Lisa Halaby) was quite an amazing Lady. She attended Chapin which is next to Dalton one of New York's Top Private Schools for Girls, then Concord Academy (, she was part of the First Co Ed Class to Graduate From Princeton (Class Of 1972) and it was the Alma Mater of Michelle Obama (Class Of 1983). Out of King Hussein's Four Wives only one was born Muslim, the others "Converted".

@@theelizabethan1 I know right! I was stunned. I feel he had alot of resentment when his Title of Crown Prince was taken away from him to his Half Nephew Hussein who is about to get married himself. He also attended School in Washington (Georgetown).

They were very happy in their life together.The king was a great man.

It’s a Muslim tradition especially for men. But in general death is not mourned the same in Islam because God decides when to live and die.

@@salla6534 If your uncle did it, it has nothing to do with Islam or tradition of Islam. This is how his heart felt it. Nothing wrong there. I know many people that never remarried after their spouse died, and many others that waited a few years or nothing at all. But by Islam mourning (iddah) is 4 months and 10 days, and then you have the right to remarry if you want or need. So, please read it or google it, but don't ever dare to call me a liar. God bless your uncle and your family.

😂💯Damn...the Playboy king sure did move fast. Queen Alia died February 1977 and a mere 16 months later he is once again marrying a much younger-than-himself blondish female. 😂🤣He was a dwarf but he had the appetite of a giant.

Also she was part of the First Co Ed Class to Graduate from Princeton (Class Of 1974). In 1983 Michelle Obama (Nee Robinson) Graduates in 1983. Two amazing Ladies. I remember seeing the announcement when I was a kid in 1978 and I didn't fully understand who she or he was, but after reading her Book, I was blown away. She was only 26 to his 41 who had Eight Children already including Three Little Ones, I had no idea she had to convert to Islam and take another Name. She was also quite the overachiever attending Chapin not to mention Concord Academy in Massachusetts.

You have to remember that out of the Four Women he married Two were Christian who converted to Islam. His First one was married to him for only Two Years 1955-1957 and they realized that they had nothing in common. His Third Wife died in a Helicopter Crash and when he married Spouse #4 Queen Noor (born Lisa Halaby), she gave up a lot. Her citizenship as an American Woman, her religion who converted to Islam, and she was living in a Country where Women's Rights weren't recognized or encouraged.

What is wrong if he married 4 times. He needed children to heirs of their wealth. If you have 2 children, people might get rid of the king and take the kingdom, their wealth and positions. Look at the other royal family in uae. He got only 2 sons and both of them died of drug overdose. The king doesnt have his heirs. If i am the king i will do king solomon of the old testament so i can have lots of children. There are no problems of getting married even 10times for as long as you can support all of them.
