Something i didnt realize until a few days after replaying the game, Miles and Peter are both dealing with the same kind of problem with wanting to and almost killing their foes and almost not letting that kind of power be unchecked. I find it so amazing that Miles had learned and adapted this from Peter, and then has to use it to help Peter understand that hes doing exact wrong thing

Miles: Sorry about that. I just... Peter: 😡 Miles: Hey, it's just me. Peter: 👿🕸️ ANYTHING CAN BE BROKEN - Remove the Symbiote from Peter ROUND 1 Miles: You're almost killed him, man! What are you doing?! Peter: You're in the way, Miles! Symbiote: Always in the way! Peter: I could've fixed everything! Miles: How? By strangling him? That's not what we do! Peter: Don't try to mentor me! You're the one running away from your problems! YOU'RE the one hell bent on revenge! Miles: Revenge?! All i wanted was to protect my family! Protect you! Peter: You're not better than me! Miles: I'm not saying that! You're stronger than some suit, Pete. Don't listen to it! Peter: And what, listen to you?! Miles: Yes! Listen to me! Very interesting that Paesano used his cues from the later Venom reveal cutscene and the... final boss music? I feel like he either didn't have time to write new cues for all the cutscenes or Insomniac decided to just use whatever music he already made instead of asking for more.

The bit right before the boss begins goes HARD

It’s a mix of emotions, with Miles trying to save Peter from himself. God damn this is beautiful. This should have been the final boss.

I’d like to see it as this. Phase 1: the alien rithem show that peter is no longer human, stuck with the suit and doesn’t want to take it off at all but near the end of the 1st battle the chores come up to show miles is here to help Phase 2: shows the fire inside Peter starts to get sparks from miles encouraging him to come back to the light Phase 3: peters theme slowly pulling itself through showing that miles has lit that candle and all Peter needs to do is light the fire by taking off the suite but the evil notes are still there telling that the Peter still wants to keep the suit but miles is still there for Peter and still hope for him End of fight: miles hits the bell, the instruments slow down, Peters theme is fully embraced and Peter starts returning but still won’t let go but miles is still trying to get through to him and Peter starts taking off the suit and comes back to the light, Peter rips off the symbiote and everything is quiet then a the deep guitar riffs because the symbiote wants peters abilities but miles steps in and saves Peter for the 4th time in this game And that’s how I feel like how this theme is presented how do you all think it’s presented

This is the best fight boss battle I have ever played, watching peter struggle n suffering and screaming in pain while fighting with miles 😢 💔 this is heart breaking like ouch.

Finally I found a post that includes the ending. I will say, if you had done the QTE of pulling off the symbiote slower more music plays which would avoid some of the weird audio jump cuts, but still, it's wonderful to find this

Fun Opinion: I actually think that it would have been cool and crazy if we could have actually been able to fight as peter and then fight miles instead of being miles and then fighting peter, Either way it would have been very cool!

Tbh it’s likely that the people who play and voted on bg3 are the type of person to vote on the game awards. Not even being mean or nothing cus I loved bg3 too but 90% of the people who played spiderman 2 probably don’t even watch the game awards let alone take the time to vote on them. Bg3 has a demographic of ppl where gaming is their entire life but Spiderman 2 has majority casual fans

There’s no violin that plays Peter’s theme in this, although you do have to die & respawn to hear it, in the OST release you can hear Peter’s theme at 1 minute & 59 seconds
