I can't believe how different these two series are yet how many times they've interacted or crossed over, one time literally. I mean, Omni Man and JJJ have the same voice actor, Pete and Mark have met each other, the same person has helped make music for both... it's like these two are quantum entangled

this theme is practically flawless, i love it. the fact that they included that distorted guitar-sounding "thing" throughout the piece makes it feel alien and unsettling, which is helped by other effects used in this. it's just so good man, i was so bummed out when Spider-man 2 didn't win OST for Game of the Year

They didn't have to go this hard with this theme

What freaks me out about this music is that it's even easier to hear than normal because Pete is sometimes just... silent while wearing the symbiote. Especially when picking up Spiderbots, he usually has some little quip or notices something interesting about it, let alone the fact that it's from ANOTHER FREAKING DIMENSION. But here? Nothing. Not even something sarcastic. No "who dumped their garbage all over my city?" or "more like INFERIOR Spider-Man." Combined with the creepy, twisted leitmotifs of his theme it really feels like he's beginning to just be puppeted around by Venom.

I noticed on my 2nd playthrough, when he had the symbiote and collected the bots, Ganke didn't call Peter after collecting some. Maybe he was scared to? Don't know if that was intentional or maybe a glitch on my game

2:54 to me reallly emphasizes on the adrenaline aspect of spiderman. it’s like when you’re running towards the temple after atreus gets taken by baldur in the first god of war. it’s like the urgency to get somewhere whereas for this instance its very compelling as spidey. whenever this part comes on whenever im in the middle of swinging i get a surge of adrenaline. it really is that beautiful.

Maybe the sense of urgency has also another meaning as when Peter gets the symbiote, he's now on a race against time to save Harry who's slowly dying without it. It really empathizes that feeling of pressure that tells you this is a serious situation, that you don't have any to goof off and you need to get it over with as quickly as possible. Time's running out. *Harry's dying.*

This theme is great for putting you into Peter’s headspace. The frantic desperation he’s feeling in order to save Harry slowly gets transmuted into something sinister when the symbiote starts to take hold.

5:55 took me by full suprise the first time I heard it before doing the Wake Up mission, it conveys how much of a hold the symbiotes taken on Peter so well

Fun fact: during this part of the game if you pause and do photo mode, a whole new version of this song plays!

I love how the droning synth on purposely makes the Spider Man theme sound terrible because of the awful corruption the Symbiote had on Peter. Little things like that make me appreciate the OST more

and the second time it plays, the synth is much more subtle and the guitar is wayy louder almost drowning it out. i love it, i love evil spiderman.

I was just swining and fighting crime for hours, while this masterpiece played. 5:55 Damn that goes hard from here.

The music on this game is peak 👌 🔥. I be hearing this theme in my head while im at work. This game is literally everything i wanted as a kid.

Dark & AMAZING track. Really makes you feel like symbiote Peter when you're webbing around the city while Peter is talking like a jerk to everybody 😂

Really hope that with the update next year we’ll be able to change the free roam music as the music after the main story sucks in comparison to the music you get prior especially for miles.

You don't Get the symbiote version of act 2 and it's depressing.

I don't know why, but whenever this part of the song arrives 02:43, I feel a feeling of urgency and adrenaline, as if Spider-Man was desperate, I don't know. This song is so perfect, every time I hear it I get goosebumps

If you mean the kind of messed up and weird sounds all throughout the song, that’s how it sounds in game too, It’s meant to symbolize the Symbiote corrupting Peter

Been free roaming before the “It chose you” so I keep the black suit but have the aggression, made it rain and it’s super fun

I honestly love the entirety of the track, but 1:48 - 3:40 is so good, it’s my fave.🖤🤍🖤
