I've been playing guitar for 30 years, and in my opinion, he's the best there's ever been. Even EVH would play Nuno's solos in warm ups before concerts. Nuno has stated in several interviews he was paying homage to EVH in this solo, of course with his own stamp on it. Great reaction video

Thanks for watching and the kind words. There is only 1 guitar player that i rank above him and thats a guy no one has really heard. Different style so its really comparing apples n oranges. His name is Shawn Lane. You should check him out.. he died at 40 but was an amazing guitar player. Guitar magazine named him the fastest ever once in one of their issues. He's not just fast either, hella tasteful. He did alot of fusion jazz/rock. However, i differentiate between who has better skills vs who ill listen to more. Nuno id listen to everyday. Lane is like wine.. you enjoy what he does when you are in a mood for it. Again, at their level it is impossible to say who is actually technically the better player and just becomes a matter of taste. Glad you enjoyed and thanks for watching!

More than words 🤘🤘🤘

Nuno is unstoppable! Love Extreme. I was at the SW guitar show in Dallas decades ago representing the station I worked for. Standing alone was Nuno. I started talking to him, and he was incredibly kind. What surprised me was that nobody knew it was him. But I did. Extreme was big then too. I was shocked that we stood there for almost an hour, and only a handful of people recognized him. ☮️❤️😎

First time I've heard the modern incarnation...More Than Words and Hole Hearted were what I remember. I like this new version too!

What separates bands like Extreme, Metallica and Van Halen from the rest - aside from the pure musicianship and ability of every member of the group - is the attention to detail in every aspect of both the song itself and the production. The drums, bass, lead guitar, keys and singing are all impeccable, and how they blend together in the arrangement is first class. Like Van Halen were with Eddie, Extreme are also blessed with one of the most talented virtuoso musicians and songwriters on the planet in Nuno Bettencourt. Some of the music he has written - particularly on III Sides - is breathtakingly beautiful, and his guitar playing on both acoustic and electric is unparalleled. I cannot wait for the new album.

I'm still waiting for some new Vito Bratta stuff. Talk about a guitarist that's on another level that for some reason don't get the love he deserves!!!

I've loved Extreme for more than 30 years... hard to believe lol. They are a local band for me and I've been lucky enough to have a 45 minute conversation with Gary Cherone. What a great guy. Whole band is awesome. Even got to stand in the wings for More Than Words at one of their shows... this was great! #SwolePatrol

Couldn't agree more about Nuno. He is a VIRTUOSO. Like a lot of people i have all their albums and Nuno is just ridiculously great. And getting even better.

Our camera is mounted and haven't noticed the shaking.. as for the coughing.. happens sometimes when smoking a cigar lol. If you watch our content you will see that we never edit. What you see is what you get. That has actually made for some funny events caught on camera. Not sure if your compliment was serious or sarcastic, but gonna assume it was serious lol. Rewatched and yes the camera shakes when she hit the computer desk. Crazier things have happened. Ive degrees in music education and performance as well as 35 years as a performing musician and sound engineer. Spent most of my life analyzing music so we chose not to do that here and just have fun with it. Many appreciate the fact that we are real and no frills. If that's not for you thats ok. Maybe some of our other content would be to your liking, if not, then its cool .. peace be upon you and have a great day
