Is there a Natural Swing Plane? The answer is resoundingly yes.
In this video, I show you the conventional two plane problem and the Single Plane Solution. It's all about impact.
About the Single Plane Golf Swing
The Single Plane golf swing is not a quick fix golf technique. It is a system, beginning at address, that simplifies the most important moment of the golf swing - impact.
Starting at address on two planes where the arms hang straight down at address, the Conventional golf swing is complicated. Because the arms are hanging straight down, a conventional golfer must lift the body into impact creating stress on the back.
This upward movement to accommodate the two planes is unnecessary.
The Single Plane Golf swing simplifies the golf swing by eliminating the need for the upward movement by starting and impacting on the same plane.

I watch various "tip" videos just to compare them to your instruction. (Often as ads on yours...) The ability to relate bodily movement to efficiency and then to result is key. You stay with the essence of the swing and its fundamentals. My own results are obvious because when I go astray, I can refer to the model (and its perfection of performance) and find where I am deficient. This allows for speedy and effective correction. The season is still some way off but I am raring to go...

Swing's looking sweet, Todd when your using the armlock does anything change for you 15ft and in versus lag putting? lag putting feels like chrochet to me but love it inside 15ft. Thanks for all the instruction!

Hi Todd, Does this mean the higher the swing speed the higher the hands will be with setup? Was just thinking of swing carousel and that the swings lift when speed increases.

The club will always swing to align with the arms. When analyzed, the club will achieve a plane that aligns with mid-spine. It is not necessarily "Higher" but a natural relationship to the body and arm motion.

No. On the swing ride the chains are hanging from the rotating swing plane. As the plane is rotating, just as Todd is discussing, the chains will rise to become parallel to the plane. In the Single Plane golf swing, your arms are already parallel to the Swing plane, so there is no force component perpendicular to the Swing Plane that would make the hands "rise". As the swing speed increases, the hands are actually more firmly locked onto the plane making it harder to screw up getting to impact.😊
