Some jackass put her rubber band around my neighbors cats neck and it up with an embedded rubber band in his neck it was really awful the vet took care of the rubber band and the cat survived

That what happened to one of the strays cat . Kids was playing with thrusting in people cat and , tight a rubber band very tightly on her paw . That day I just back from work , walked home . Cats there legged screaming hell out of heart running to me . I saw exactly the same food as in this video only difference was is a wounds . Got her immediately to vet and only after sedating +Anastasia we manage to remove the bands . There was a high risks of sepsis . Today is a 8th days of treatment and I should say we gonna be able to save her leg 🙏🏼. Thank you for posting , o really hope people watching it and starts teaching their kids not to play with a cats like a dolls.

Would just like to add that sometimes the Coban dressings applied by owners or vet staff can cause similar problems. Love your videos!

My cat can't retract his claw properly, just the first claw on his right paw, he has a minor wound which I have cleaned, I am worried about infection. I am taking him in tomorrow first thing, do you think this is something that can be sorted? Will he be able to retract it again? because at the moment it is sticking out of his paw whereas usually he is able to retract it. Will he be ok?

Hey my cat has been limping and it's left leg is doing that and looks exact same but there's no rubber band on it cause well why would a rabbit band be on my cat and it does look like a rubber band and I told my mom take her to the vet but we don't have money so why should I do

My cat had a hair tie wrapped around her paw. The skin came off after a few months and it wont heal because she keeps messing with it.

If ur cat has a swollen paw due to it being wrapped around a rubber band and it’s just swollen massage and gently press it for a few minutes and it’ll start to go back to normal.

I have a baby kitten like a newborn and it has a swollen foot its kind of red and puffy do you know how I can heal it without hurting the baby

my cats paw turned red. and it so swollen. but we dont have any vet near

some kid in my neighborhood tied a band on my poor kitty :( we just got it off hopefully she will recover. Checking on it in the morning.

@@jeuel9715 like 2 days my cat is inside outside mostly outside don't worry to much it should drain on its on and the cat will clean it if it last longer then a week then I'll see a vet

Just wanted to tell you that a vet can't give medical advice here on YT for liability purposes...I think he made a video about that, or some other vet that I follow did...My pup broke her leg when she was less than a year old and the bone went right back into place but that made her limp, I would inspect your pups leg really well and see if he has a more sensitive spot, and def watch it closely, sometimes they even get a sprain or something...Hopefully it's not a rubber band...J/K

thank you and i hhave been watching his leg and he limps every now and then but he can walk on his leg i think it might just hurt him a little but i will be taking him to a vet as soon as i can instead to be sure and get him an xray hopefully

I know what it's like having to make a decision on whether you should go to the vet or not. You really never know if it's going to be worth it or if you are just gonna get a "he will be ok" message from the vet. If you go for nothing that stinks...Especially with the cost. I really wish there was a better option when it comes to caring for your pet. Either CASH and you never know how much CASH, or pet insurance which will cost you an arm and a leg every month, what if you insure a pet that NEVER get's hurt in a lifetime?? I would be so grateful but then again so MAD that I spent so much on insurance. I pray I don't ever have a problem because I'm a cash person and I generally live paycheck to paycheck...

yeah i havd been looking at how much an xray is and its around $70 well i hope not because if he will be ok it will be a waste of money but what if its serious its very hard to choose but most likely taking him to the vet and just a week ago i spent $56 on deworming because i had to deworm him then my kitten got them aswell but aslong as they are fine

I know I understand what you're going through. On top of all of that it's flea season and I have a huge lab! 30 bucks a month! I hate bugs so I refuse to let that go! We need to review pet products on KZread lol.

My cat had a cat bite abscess two weeks ago, took him to the vet gave him antibiotics and cleaned him but its been two weeks and hes still limping 😩 i took him three day ago back to the vet, he gave my cat an injection and my cat was good but now hes limping again and worst 😭

I just found a cat, his leg is exacly like 0:26 but more swollen. Theres still rubber band inside his leg 😢
