Sweden was honestly the most underrated team in this World Cup. A side where nobody thought they would have even qualified to the World Cup. They had to beat Italy in order to qualify, and once they did everybody thought they would have finished last or third in their group, but instead made it to the quarter finals, all without Zlatan, what a story.

In most of Sweden's matches so far have the opponents been saying they were the better team and deserved the win but they were unlucky and didnt score. Usually I think if you cant score you dont deserve the win. Thats what football is about in the end. Today was England by far better. Sweden did not score when they had the chance, England on the other hand did. England deserved the win. Thanks Sweden for this World Cup, never thought we could go so far. All I can say as a Swede is that we have fought good and I am very proud of our progression, It's the first time in 24 years we have had such an opportunity, but it was not good enough to beat England, lovely match and GREAT game by them! Tbh England was not that good, 2 goals from standard situations with the head. I barely saw Englands "Superstars" anywhere dominating Sweden. Sweden could have deserved it aswell, had more chances and shots on the goal but in the end only goals matter. Im not even a fan of sweden but England sucks imo. Uruguay or Brazil would be far more interesting in the Semifinals.

And we are finally out. We (Sweden) had a pretty good campaign. Well done England and keep on chanting "It's coming home"

I'm another proud Irishman who was pleased to see England progress. They owe a lot to that goalkeeper. It's a pity he seems to be such a moaner but maybe that's just nerves. Maguire is one of the stars of the tournament, despite his stupid booking today. Sweden did not do too badly today. Despite being under pressure they still crafted some great moments - the keeper saved England. Still think the team at Mexico 70 was the best England team - they should never have lost to Germany in the quarter-final having been denied a blatant penalty when Colin Bell was mowed down after a great piece of skill put him though on goal when England chased an equaliser. One of the worst refereeing decisions ever.

FreddeFo but Jordan Pickford saved the England ass btw. He was really good, while Sterling had a chance to give Kane to score but he didn’t do that. I’m not hating just disappointed bcoz I believe in England team. But well played! Everybody tried their best.

I often forget how insane of a world cup run this was by Sweden. They knocked out the Netherlands in the world cup qualifer group stages, AND knocked out italy in the qualifying playoffs. Then, they took first place in a group with Germany AND Mexico, and made it to the quarterfinals. They could be a force to be reckoned with next year in Qatar...

Edward Bernayse666 before the cup started we couldnt even think about it, but after beating everyone in our group,especially Argentina 3-0, our self-confidence increased and we knew that this year we can and we will do a lot. Even we're not in finals yet, our Boys made us so proud and if they lose from England we will still be the proudest nation in the world cause this is one of the best years in history of croatian football and sport. But we definitely believe that we can make it till the end.

Sucks that my Sweden lost but I say two things; England was the better team and deserved to win so congrats England and good luck, second it was really refreshing to see two teams who actually stood up on their two legs in the battles instead of "pulling a Neymar".
