The 2022 football is even different then it was in 2018. It depends on the strategies and the playing style. Maybe I am wrong, but It all depends on the coaching and the team itself. That free kick gets better every time I watch it. In the long run, it didn’t mean much, but it certainly did in that game. Composure, accuracy, pressure on Kroos etc. It perfectly fed the narrative of never writing Germany off.

I wouldnt go as far and say "no skill" cause we defintely have some good teams here. But lack of agression when one team is up ahead is just lame. If we had more games like Belgium-TUnisia where the leading team actually decides to score more goals then this World cup would defintely been more fun so far.

No , it is exactly the opposite, it was a B team , with Gomez , Brandt Reus , Süle ,hector . Also hummels and neuer were injured and ozil played bad on purpose

Dude no, that Team 2018 was one of the baddest Germany ever had, of course, some Great players like Kroos and Müller but to many retired after 2014 or 2016: Schweinsteiger, Klose, Kedhira,Lahm, We're much much better nowadays though

@@grussgott0768 you are right , also neuer,reus ,hummels and boateng just had come back from injured , they were not 100%, they were in bad form back then, also Joachim löw committed mistakes of calling players like Gomez ,Werner and Brandt while he didn’t call Wagner (who was the best German striker back then) ,sane,gnabry

Mhhh...Sweden delayed the match from the beginning. The match should have even taken 10min longer. I agree... the penalty should have been given, but then it would have been 1:0 and the score would be not different.

Just tears in my eyes and goosbumps on my arms. I wasn't sure if we could made it..... right because there were just 2 minutes left and just 10 men on the field, but like the comentator said 'when they are down, and when they are tested, they will always find a way to win' - that's what makes german mantality to what it is. As a german, i'm proud to be part of this nation and even if we won't make it this year (which i think when i'm sure) i'll take it with loyality for my country and nationality. Hope we will see many many more epic games like this one
