I guess if France cannot score in the first half or even end up with 1-0,they are going to lose the final. One thing stands out in Croatian team. They are too good at disguise. They act as if they are burned out, act as if they are inferior with some poor body language and they act as if they are just playing along with the opposition. Luca himself has such qualities but as the opponent tend to relax, they comeback with brutal attack and by the time anyone could realise what happened, the game is over!!

Imagine being 12 year old boy, living in a small country and obsessed with football and watching your country going to final on a World cup. And it was so dramatical, every game. I was having 7 heart attacks per game. But it was best summer ever, it was so unbelievable. The whole country was on fire. You couldn't see anyone on the street that's not in croatia jersey, even the tourists. I remember mandzukic's goal like it was yesterday and it is probably the best moment of my childhood. I jumped and run out of house screaming. My brother broke the vase, my mom who don't really like football cried because of joy and stress and relief, and I have never seen my dad that crazy. I will never forget it

Every time I rewatched Croatia KO stage games, I only have increasing respect for them
I remember watching this match when I was in Thailand in bar full of English and only two Croatian’s , even the Thai locals wanted England to win but Croatia deserved it coz they played their hearts out in this World Cup! Every person in the bar (who was English) bought the Croatians a drink for the rest of the night! What a time!!

Sterling Hayden I agree but once they got on top there was no way back for England, totally outplayed and outclassed the rest of the game, especially in midfield. England are a very young inexperienced side who can learn from this tournament and progress further.
