Yay! Excited to see your palette for the Italy trip - those you added and those you opted to live without. This is the ultimate travel kit! The yellows and neutrals you’ve picked will mix nicely with the blues. Can’t go wrong with ShinHan’s shell pink (as well as their brilliant pink, which looks much like your Holbein swatch.) A side note - while I love the hue of DS perylene maroon, it’s quite staining and I might be seeking an alt for my daily palette.

Yes, I also find that those crazy intense staining colors are not for me, but they are fun for their versatility. I will put them to the test during the fall, I think maybe for me they will work mixed with white or buff titanium, and watered down.

Beautiful choices! I kind of giggled when you said Burnt Scarlet Hematite Genuine, because I label my half pans with the maker on one side and the color on the other, and was imagining how to label that color in the tiny space. I guess BSHG😂. The pinks and corals were making me very happy! Was it raining outside? It sounded like running water in the background, so I thought at first my husband was in the shower.😄

What a beautiful beautiful palette!! I’m sure hoping you can go to Italy so we can see your pictures you paint! The only color that I think should be added to every palette is neutral tint. I’m not sure if you are familiar with neutral tint but it is a mixing color that changes any color in your palette to a beautiful darker shade of itself. To me it’s a must. I will be looking forward to future videos of you using this beautiful palette! 😍👏👏

I love your color choices! I learn about so many new colors from you and of course I want them all! BTW I believe the pronunciation of Juane is just like wand but without the d at the end, just wan, or really whan (it’s a breathy w sound.) I hope that helps! 💕

Thank you Lynda! Glad to have you here! I admit I do nothing... They somehow seem to fit and with heavy use the more sticky paints get messy and out of their pans and kinda make the pans stick 😁

This is such a lovely setup, and I believe I may end up looking for some of the mint and peachy like colors you showed for my own palette for they seem like they’ll be fun to paint with. Beautiful choices but I;m surprised you don't have a true green for all the striking Italian greenery/landscape. Hopefully you will be able to mix one with the mayan blue, or maybe you will be concentrated on the buildings..... regardless its an attractive set of colors.

It’s so hard to choose. I have a palette that is similar to yours. I thought that I would have enough room in the built in wells, but I keep adding extra pans. I find that I am not satisfied with just the main paints. It’s very difficult for someone like me who has an obsession with paints to limit myself so I just keep adding and adding...

I hear you Paula! I love having a ton of colors and switching them out periodically. I find this current one I'm using is really compact considering how much it holds, and for me it presents the best of all the watercolor worlds 😉
