I dont know why, but it was just weird seeing Swamp Thing driving around in that dune buggy thing lol. Being a plant man who can literally travel through the earth, I feel like there are a lot of faster ways for him to get around.

Sounds like The Troggs put the hammer down on the theme song. They had to redo the music but kept the original "wild thing" vocal track from episode 1.

"Let's Get Busyyy" lmao. I remember watching this when I was 11yrs old. I had to laugh cause I thought it was funny then and as soon as I heard anton say that I died...

"To Live Forever," Dr. Arcane and his Un-Men travel to the Amazon rainforest in search of the "trees that never die," and enslaves a local Indian tribe to harvest their sap. It also shows that Dr. Arcane also becomes an arachnid monster.

Swamp Thing from 1991, came out at the same time as The Chipmunks Go to the Movies on NBC, New Kids on the Block on ABC, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on CBS, whey were in repeats.

Captain Planet has nothing on Swamp Thing. The villains had reasons for doing what they did (immortality) unlike the Captain Planet villains who did it just for money or fun. Also no environmental messages with the subtly of a sledgehammer to the face.

dag1984 I actually like "Captain Planet and the Planeteers" but I have to admit it was pretty heavy-handed. I agree that Swamp Thing is better though. It's a shame we only got five episodes but still, better than none.

@@Wright805 This show is as bad as I recall, but definitely better than Capt. Planet!...That said, I REALLY LOVE all the crazy transformations of Swamp Thing (and how some of them take direct inspiration from the Alan Moore comics).

What happened to the theme song 😂 It’s like they knew they were going to sued from the writer of “wild thing” panicked and just rewrote a mash up of an edit and something that just doesn’t fit. It’s still cool but the songs direction is really all over the place.
