Incredible video. That GV went above and beyond, and it gave me some mild anxiety from all the times I got stuck by myself but without anyone to help recover lol

I have a 2008 X-Sport with the traction control so it won’t spin out when the tires leave the ground. But it has the 2.7L V6 which it’s weakest point. The water pump has gone out twice and now it’s losing antifreeze into the oil pan. I wish it had a diesel in it. ARB makes an awesome winch bumper for the Vitara. Great video

What makes the 2.7 L v6 the weakest point? I have the 2007 v6 2.7l

@@michaelshawareb1518 The water pump has got out 3 times on it and it's about 16 hours of labor to replace it. The radiator, fans, everything on the front of engine, timing chain cover, intake manifold and passenger side valve cover all have to come out.

@@McPh1741 I have a 2007 2.7 v6 GV 3d owner.. it has 311000 km on it same engine and gearbox. drives like a butter no problems at all doing general maintenance and the engine is still strong.. a week a go had some chain nocking sound so did an engine flush and changed the oil and oil filter after .. it's smoother now now the front drive shaft is making a nocking noise will change it soon. It will cost me around 200$ with labor . In the maintenance log it didn't have any of the problems you mentioned.. maybe I'm lucky or they will go down soon . Hope not In my country (jordan) we don't have the diesel version. Only 2L , 2.4L and 2.7L Everyone hates the 2L one because it's too weak for this vehicle, the 2.4L will cost you a lot if anything goes wrong but the 2.7L is strong 💪 and low in maintenance cost if anything goes wrong and known for its durability

A company called ARB makes an awesome winch bumper for Vitara.

If i had off road tyres there'd be no stopping it. It did well any way.

Very reliable, many change the oil at 30k and screw up the engine, change every 12 months or 10-15k. I've been driving this engine for over 12 years, never had any problems with it.

@@marqez_z900 awesome! Thanks for the info :) I usually change oil + all filters in my cars every 8-10k km :P I also change the fuel filter every time... but well you never know what the previous owner did tho

@@danielfulop Same i change also 10k max,but renault say to change on 30k and one year,people drive 2 years for 30k and then screw turbo and engine over the years,than say engine is garbage.

Grand vitara в таких условиях очень хороша, чувствует себя проворно, даже в стоковом исполнении и без кучи доработок, внедорожный потенциал у неё огромный

@@user-nf9qy3oe4u насправді з цього відео ясно видно, що властивості позашляхові у цього авто недобрі, його постійно витягують сзаду або спереду і я можу сказати це з повною відповідальністю, оскільки я власник вітари 2.4 в цьому кузові
