SUSHI Serving TRAY / How to / Woodworking
In this video I'll show how I made a Serving Tray from Reclaimed Wood from old pine shelves. I used sliding dovetails for the base. I choose one of my prefered finishes: Shou-Sugi-Ban (焼杉板) also known as Yakisugi which adds really deep texture on soft woods as pine or cedar, besides an awesome protection for wood.

COOL

👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Beautiful work and an artists patience with the multiple burn and gorgeous wood legs. May I ask what type of wood is that? I’m just starting my “char wood” journey Thanks
Good work Barcelona. I liked your "bowties." I saw the crack in the board and thought I think he might to add a bowtie or two or that crack will just propagate. Then the next shot was of you adding two nice Bowties...Well done. I just discovered your channel and subscribed. Thanks for the great video...kunk
when the wax finally arrived, the wood let go a sigh of relief. Muy bonita!

Indeed. That piece of pine was really dry. Not shown on video but I applied 3 coats of my own blend wax buffing between coats. Regards.

How do you think that would hold up as a cutting board?
How has it held up?
Did this, it keeps staining stuff with soot. No idea where i went wrong.
Count the number of product placements.... I got 3

You think everyone has the patience, time and incentive to grind and scrape off every brand name on their tools and replace it with "Culito" just to give you a shout-out and make you happy?

Totally agree. Narration, dubbed over the video part is infinitely more interesting to watch. And LEARN. Unless he is safeguarding some proprietary techniques to preserve his legacy as a wood-burning mage.
