Wonderful! Thank you for making this video! Out of curiosity, could you give the name of the glue you used to secure the stone to wood? :-)

This is a definite upgrade on my improvised sturdy cardboard box, draped in plastic sheeting, hidden in a bush so my husband wouldn’t find it, stuffed with pillows and blankets.

Grinding on the side of a wheel like that should be avoided, or done very lightly, they can explode.

Nail (2) 2"x4" boards one each end of the log minimum 3' long each. Stabilize the log, then slow ,steady straight push forwards. Can put you n an old aluminum ladder with rolling wheel rail system. Use a bicickle brake handle as your throttle. Use rear brake of BMX,mountain bike. It will also have a recyclable throttle cable.

I'm in the middle of building a cat house for outside of the house when our cat Nico has to wait for us while it's raining. I was thinking of some insulation for the floor (i.e.waterproof fabric) and was going to have some raised legs too so the cold morning floor wont affect him but it never occurred to me to put insulation in the sides and roof inbetween boardings. Even though I am only a beginner and have made a large birdhouse/feeder for my dad I feel your awesome skills are going to help me a GREAT deal! Thank you for this upload. You got a new subber :]

Hmm no rebar and concrete in a square above ground. Seems like it will shift with weather and the concrete without rebar will spilt apart and separate. You did a whole lot for nothing

Beautiful job, but many of us do not have ur skills or tools. If my dad was alive, this would be a labor of love. I own some tools, but not to ur extent. My one question is this. The roof being slanted high in the front, doesn't rain or snow enter. Do you believe a pyramid type roof extended over door may have proved somewhat beneficial? Or the roof slanted down over door may be good? Maybe a pyramid type may lose body heat, unsure. I'd appreciate knowing. I've always wished I owned a house to create a wood shop but guess it wasn't in God's plans. I'm 76, guess my dream is over. So many strays here. Thank you for showing us this efficient home. ❤ I love watching these DIY videos. We get so many ideas on making homes for the poor outside kitties. Maybe God can grant me another 50 yrs of life soni can do these projects. We learn so much when we get older and realuze, time has really slipped by. Blessed 2024 to all.
