We put Arbortech tools to good use with this power carved mirror frame project! We will show you how to create unusual wood joins, as well as a beautiful, soft sculpted appearance all finished off with the Shou Sugi Ban method of preserving wood, giving the frame a blackened finish.

Burn AFTER texturing?? Hmm I'm trying to do something similar and I figured to do it first

What size boards did you start with? A 2 x 6 doesn't seem like it would be thick enough.
