    @@ArbortechWoodworking will do! Hey would you recommend the scraper over the ARBORTECH INDUSTRIAL WOODCARVER BLADE?

  • @ArbortechWoodworking
    @ArbortechWoodworkingАй бұрын

    @@user-cw6uq4qu8t Depends on what you are wanting to achieve. The TURBO Scraper is slower at removing timber compared to the Industrial Woodcarver. This intentional design feature provides professionals with superior control over delicate tasks but also makes it by far the most beginner-friendly. The Industrial Woodcarver effortlessly plunges into wood, cuts precisely on the edge and, is the fastest Arbortech attachment for rapid wood removal and shaping

    I just purchased and installed the TurboPlane, but it is not cutting the way it shows here, and there are definitely no wood chips - it throws a fine dust. When I feel the 'blades', they are not sharp. When the product comes, is it necessary to sharpen the blades first?

    OK, got mine a few days ago and finally got it out,mounted it up and used it for about an hour or so. I have the burr discs and actually took one off of the angle grinder and mounted the turbo scraper.Well all in all it was a very positive experience. I had a bowl that I had carved and used it to do the final carving before sanding.I used the arbortech sander and my time was cut by two thirds by using the turbo scraper instead of the burr disc.I am very satisfied with the results of the product and the learning curve was very short due to me owning most of the arbortech angle grinder mounted products so I knew how to use it pretty much right out of the box.The best part was the light touch I was able to use when removing bumps and carving marks PLUS you can see through it so your work is always there for you to see.I have always had a tendency to go too deep in the final carving of a piece when the wood gets thin.This product will help you from blowing through that last 1/4 inch or so.I am very satisfied and cannot wait to make some spoons with it. GOOD ON YA MATE,well done!!!!
