In my opinion, Susan's 'perfected awkward pause', is the finest ever on all of Craig's time on the show. You can see why she has won an Oscar with acting like that.

I quite agree about the chemistry. The way Susan 'acted' out that awkward pause to my mind made Craig look like an 'amateur' at it. After he leant back in his chair with his arms outstretched he seemed lost for what to do next, whereas Susan kept on with all the subtle, (not overdone) gestures of someone who was almost 'bored'. That is the difference between a 'great' actor and one who is more of a 'comedian' and has never really 'mastered' the finer points of acting.

Great actress. On Sesame Street she had 26 adjectives and adverbs with a different expression to go with it. Absolute classic.

He has such a natural talent for conversation! He's genuinely interested in people and how they think and how they feel, so simple but so very much appreciated !

Update: It's 2023. She's 76 and still lovely.

I don't think that I would have ever written such a comment, but that was THE BEST AWKWARD PAUSE

She is one of the greatest actress Natural talent. Many muvies excellent.

I am 62 yrs old. Ever since rocky horror... she has been my fav actress. I have never seen a movie she's in where I wasn't completely enamored with her!

That is a rare woman in many ways.

Susan is the greatest actor of her generation IMO. I loved Craig's "it's been lovely visiting with you" at the end of the first interview. Glad he took up giving the guests options to end with instead of that incredibly awkward ending.

This woman never gets old!! She is amazing

Sultry AND provocative. The world is a better place with this woman in it.

It's interesting to see her comfort level improve compared to each previous appearance. Craig had resistance on the first show trying to get into his normal zone with her as a guest. Huge chemistry difference compared to the first time she was on....I don't think her agent prepped her well enough for the first show.

Susan Sarandon looks better in 2014 than in 2012 -- I'm impressed. That is 42:37 versus @31:15 min.
