Surviving the Hardest Start - Alfa Romeo - F1 Manager 2023
Ойындар
Alfa Romeo is the hardest team to start with on the grid in this years edition of F1 Manager, as such we will doing our best to survive and be allowed to stay until season 2.
This video will be focusing on the development aspect of the team, until we get into a position where we can start fighting for points in the races.
You might find me streaming the game aswell, as I am currently doing a McLaren stream save while making this series.

I’m at the end of S2 with Alfa Romeo now S1 is very difficult and you need to maximize on tracks like Jeddah, Baku, and Monaco. And any chaos that might possibly happen.
Thank you for all the time you've put into these videos. This is my first time playing F1 Manager, and on my first playthrough with Alfa, I found it tough knowing what to develop and where. So this has been extremely helpful in getting up to speed and be able to enjoy the game!
My strategy was maxing out high/med cornering for Austria and the next tracks. Got a Points finish in Austria, wish me luck in Silverstone
So much fun to watch. Doing great work here with all of your content I'll watch em all. I started a Williams save and was fighting redbull at spa and Monza with the high speed cornering and I had fun actually got pole with albon at Monza which is crazy.

Let's go. The hardest challenge in the game. World Champion in season 2? Love this type of content

@@NeroBaxhow do you distribute your CFD/WT time? It looks like your maxing your allocation for every single part?
@NeroBax
9 ай бұрын
@@seanpower660 I mainly distribute it to one part as I feel that is the simplest way to do things, there is nothing wrong with splitting it between 2 or more parts the only concern would be added costs for designing and manufacturing more parts as a result but it is viable if you prefer to do it that way.
@hebisty4163

@seanpower660 you have 6 parts... I would use my first atr period and design 2 parts with use half of the atr for both... them 14 days later you get another atr period, so again use them all up on 2 parts... then the 3rd atr period I use all of it on 1 part, then forth on the last part. So within 6 races you have drastically improved your car.
Doibg an alfa one now, following step by step (as im a noob when it comes to car development) about to finish melbourne and bottas is best of the rest in 13th, good video dude
I started my career w Alfa bc they had the worst car. I wanted a challenge and oh boy i am not disappointed. Alfas car is MUCH worse than expected. My fist underfloor upgrade hardly improved a thing. If not for Bottas, i wouldnt have a single point. Money is rare so i spend it all on manufacturing development. I actually went in debt poaching good staff from other teams. Zhou is terrible and is always near the bottom. If you want a true challenge then Alfa Romeo is the way to go.
I've started an Alfa Romeo save, and Im in Miami (yet to do the race but thanks to luck with rain, both cars were in Q3) with Bottas and Pourchaire (investment piece), and so far, Bottas has gotten 2 points finishes (P9 in Baku and Melbourne). Melbourne's was thanks to all the shenanigans and lucking out on going long and hoping for a red flag

It's extremely hard but anytime I get a design finished, I never rush any of the manu projects and I always put the upgrade on Bottas car. He is your only chance of getting points 1st season. Then you have to nail your strategy and get a little lucky. I just finished spa, I have some upgrades that are gonna finish in 2 weeks. And then i'm shutting everything down and focusing on research.

Do you keep doing the sidepod and front wing design focus the same as the 1st design or do you change up the design focus for the second build?
My Alfa Romeo carrer is filled broken parts, no money and a mish mash of different upgrades on my 2nd car bc i dont have enough money to make enought parts for both on the newest upgrade. It's tough for sure.
How can you already have a Suspension S-3 while S2 was not designed? @ 10:53 in the video

Is it a bug that my second design of any part has super skewed stats for whatever I had focused on the previous iteration? Like, if I try to concentrate on the same areas for a second run of design, it get less than 2% increase in those areas.

Not editing the files at all. It is fairly easy aslong as you employ aggressive strategies and specialized parts. It's even easily reproduced if you know what you're doing.

If you are refering to tyres you can run full attack on them and still gain fuel. If talking about the engine mode, in rainy situations you will be able to regain fuel even on push as the rain forces you to drive slower.

How important do you think it is to develop chassis/sidepods for Alfa's start over front wing/suspension? This current attempt I have with Alfa Romeo, I've settled into developing and redeveloping parts WITHOUT manufacturing so that the first parts I put on the car (sometime around Imola?) will be a pretty sizable upgrade for Bottas, also because it saves money. I have focused the wings, underfloor, and suspension until they hit a point I'm comfortable putting them on the car and leaving them alone. Should I have been focusing chassis/sidepods instead? So far, still running the base car heading into Miami. One thing I always try to do is keep the team ahead of a certain team in the race (depending on who they're racing, which a majority of the time is AlphaTauri) so the races have been going well as I figure out strategies and how to maximize the current Alfa car. Also, any clue how much a fully upgraded Board Room helps the board's confidence? Obviously hitting objectives does that, but does the bar lower the higher level the room is or is there more of a tolerance for poor results? Interested how it works since one of the things I keep hearing about Alfa Romeo is that an upgraded Board Room saved some people who got past Season 1 with Alfa
@NeroBax

The main reason I am doing sidepods/chassis before suspension/front wing is the engine cooling to try and make the most of the powertrain parts that we have so I can avoid buying more later in the season hopefully. Other than that there is no real benefit. The main reason why I've done things the way I have done them is because it is going to give Bottas a fighting chance for a 1-2 points in most races for the season. No need to do what I do, feel free to give your strategy a go as it might work out well. The board room should work in the manner that good results give you more confidence, will not really having much of a effect on bad/medium results as far as I understand it.
I do not know how you do that, my car is by far the slowest, i'm last every race with Alfa Romeo,
