@windrose5988 The fact that he was rated the same as De Vries is a joke, and only 3 points higher than Sargeant. Lance is rated 83 which is a joke, no more than 80 or 79 rated, and Yuki should be like 1 or 2 points higher than 79.

I was so confused when Ben was talking about sprint strategy I thought he was talking about the main race and when he was talking about lando softs to the end I was so dreadfully confused 😂

What you've done is, you got rid of a good excuse for when Piastri performs terrible. Now expectations will be higher and he will still fail to meet them.

This race reminds me of my last race on my game. Spain gp, got a 1-2 win with Aston Martin. Alonso P1, Stroll P2. Both Red Bulls, Ferrari and Mercs took each other out in a massive crash. Best result of the season! 😂

The game is too hard for Ben so he had to go into the editor and buff his second driver, noted. To be fair 76 does seem a bit off for Oscar at this stage IRL, he looked meh in a bad car but has come alive in a competitive car, 81 might be a tad high still (83 is way too high) but it's around the right rating, I can see 79-81 so fair play Ben.

obviously not actually followed Piastri when the car was bad did you. He wasn't meh for what the car allowed. In his second ever F1 qualifying he made Q3 (taken out by Gasly second corner) and scored points in his 3rd race. Monaco he was in the points again in very difficult conditions, Canada he was up to 5th when the saftey car came out then Mclarens tyre deg and pit strategy saw him out the points. He has had some great on track battles and moves that did not get any coverage or credit on the world feed. Miami Piastri had a fantastic start made up 5 place was battling Hamilton(no coverage) then Mclaren pit him and his car started fail on him Mclaren didnt let him retire it either. Then you have Baku and Piastris battle with Yuki that went back and forth for half a lap (no coverage. Pain in Spain made Q3 Piastri was having a very good race in a bad car he found a window to perform with the softs after a couple laps then continued it on to the hard then Mclaren asked him softs or hards he said softs so they put on mediums that killed all the good work he did killed the pace and out the points. There is alot more indepth i could go but Ill leave it there. definitely take umbrage with he was meh.

your insane, has pretty much been on Lando's level the whole year, would only be like 10 points behind him if results like safety car demoting him, damage to his floor after being 3rd and Sainz taking him out and more, rating should be 82-84

Can you upgrade the drivers rating on the PC only? I don’t see this on PS5 version.

Well if we are starting to cheat just upgrade mclaren to the front row pace. They are there now irl, so why not?

Ben is So Lame; Piastri has what 9 races under his belt. Game was from before season started. He going to go re rate Albon? Going to rate down devreys or boost Alonzo? What about make Hulkenvurg better then magnuesen etc….he needs to learn how to play the game instead of cheating

I'm going to boo this man purely on the fact that my Piastri on console is still useless unless he's on fresh tyres.

Last years game was absolutely mind blowingly easy. Why even worry about editing his rating when you'll probably have a world beating car in like 6 more races. Basically kills the series to upgrade him so drastically over the last 3 races' results especially if you're not updating everyone else.

my goodness, I am racing as Mclaren, Norris is racking up 5th positions and Piastri is in 20th trailing 19th by half a lap... I mean WTH were they thinking, ok i get it start of year a rookie just put some random low numbers yadda yadda yadda, several updates in, there's no excuse of not fixing the rating of Piastri, He's not yet on Lando's level but he isn't very far, and with the rate of development he will be in his 60's to reach Lando's level lol

I think regardless of how good you believe a driver is in real life or not, you should still not change how good he is in the game, regardless if you are right or not. The game is the game, and just cuz you like a driver or think they have an unfair rating you shouldn't change it. To me it just seems like you really wanted to make sure Piastri would be able to win the drivers, but you didn't wanna put down the grind for it

@kpg8295 but the game has talen onto account that Oscar will gain rating quickly as well. Like he already went from 81 to 82. To me if he wanted to change ratings at all it should've been at the start of the game or at the start of a new season. Not in the middle of one

@kpg8295 the reason i think it would be less controversial is that typically in games like this the first season is the hardest to score pointa in regardless of drivers so chabging it now will push him further up the ladder then it will If he did it on season 2. So this kinda looks liek he just didnt want the grind as i said initially. Dnt get me wrong i am not fuming about it, just a small annoyance for me personally

I must beg of you put more time into the pit crew pls winning the pit crew championship is huge for season 2

I don’t really like changing such a fundamental part of the game. It might have been a low rating, but developing drivers or spending money on replacing them is an important aspect. Effectively you’ve just cheated the game because you don’t want to fire your fellow Aussie. I’m not a fan of that, personally.

changing piastri's rating is just blatant cheating. he's a rookie... he's not supposed to be very good, sign a new driver like i did, norris is one of the best performing and rated drivers in the game hence why he out performs the car. ridiculous, getting a good driver for dirt cheap too

Jeez the amount of negative comments is insane! I scanned the comments highly expecting to see people commend Ben for fixing frontiers mistake by shafting Oscar in the game (77 and the same as De Vries is a joke) and instead everyone moaning! Jesus it’s a bloody game and Ben can play it however he likes! If he wishes to change stats - hell if he wants to add 100 million to his budget it’s his call! Let him play the game how he wants and if u don’t like it dont watch! Simple! Personally I fully support this decision Ben - Oscar in the game is trash and CONSTANTLY making mistakes which he didn’t do IRL - I think u have balanced it now to be more reflective. Keep doing what ur doing man and ignore the negative nancys

Should have titled this episode Cheatgate!!! That is what you have done. The game is done from the start of the season not halfway through the season where McLaren have a better car and oscar has some experience. At the start of the season he was a rookie. I could get behind maybe as some people have suggested doing it in season 2 if he doesnt grow as well as people feel he should. It was the same last year when you had Piastri. So biased to him because he an aussie that no matter how crap he was you point blank refuse to get rid. Its like you expect instant success rather than wanting to work and grow your drivers. Maybe you should have just gone Red Bull. You going to go and change all the other drivers now to get their stats to where they should be for where the season is now irl. This is just frustration and my opinion. Love watching your videos and it just seems you taking short cuts rather than developing the driver.

Can't beat the game by just playing it, so gets part way in the 1st season and decides to cheat instead... if you're gonna do that then there's literally no point. Might as well go all the way, more money, best car... why stop.

@kpg8295 haha he’s a “content creator” and he gets a hell of a lot money and he’s just cheated or fixed a game to suit his own purpose I managed to get mclaren to win, on my own, without cheating… Maybe I should have put it on KZread… Give him some tips… I find it embarrassing that he’s had to cheat… it ok tho as he gets paid regardless
