So with that other ending my guess Is that, when he removed all the talismans, the ghost and the cat were able to follow him because they were no longer bound to the room or the afterlife stictly. Or he just died on the way home. And now he's just pased on with them both. Either way, I'm down for it. This guy gets a ghost wife and a ghost cat.
