Actually the droids would've won, they didn't lose because of the overwhelming amount of clones, the droids lost because of Palpatine interfering with the war wanting the clones to win so that he could turn the clones into stormtroopers for the empire to rise. The droids would've won because of their big numbers and better tech. For every 1 clone there are 50 droids.
