Surprising My Husband At Work

Музыка

Austin had no idea I was coming, even I didn't know I was until 20 mins before this video was shot. It was so nice eating lunch with Austin on a Monday, it made the day better.
Does anyone know why people place rubber ducks in the dash of their Jeep?
Thanks for watching and God bless you!

I used to meet my husband for lunch and we would drive over the bridge and eat at the river. It was really nice. I still send him a little love note, a thank you note or a Bible verse in his lunchbox too. He saves them in a tin container he has. Little things like that or surprising them, like you did, makes them feel loved and appreciated. You are definitely on the right track, Korie. Have a wonderful day.

I know these kids are newlywed so I'm just going to tell you all cute little story the first couple weeks I was married my husband and I were celebrating our first night at home after the honeymoon but I had to go to the dentist in the middle of the honeymoon because I had my wisdom tooth pulled out the week of the wedding and I got a dry socket and what does my husband want for a dinner crunchy taco and here I am with gauze in a socket hole trying to eat a taco finding out I can't and then just gave it up and watch my honey eat instead it was very memorable kids very memorable. I just want to tell you Corey I watched you and Austin's wedding and my heart was just so full of love for both of you watching that the way you dipped Corey was something my daddy from West Virginia never told me about the dip maybe I would have used it it hadn't gone to heaven miss my wedding but things happen for a reason. I love your music I am a country music singer but when Jesus saved me I gave it up I sing only for Jesus now and now that I'm retired from that I love just watching you guys play and jam for Jesus I love that music it's what I grew up with. Two little things I'd like to say to you and Austin Corey is make sure the Lord is first in your marriage don't go to bed angry well actually there's three and please forgive each other always even if the other ones got to start it forgive if we don't fight we're not healthy but it's how we fight. I was 29 and he was 30 when we got married we've been married 37 years and we have a 33-year-old son and a granddaughter 2 years old God is good, isn't he Corey, make sure to give yourself time for the next few years and when the baby comes along and that pitter patter comes a little feet you won't have time for each other . Just kidding we always found time you will too by the way we're 68 years old both of us.

My husband and I celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary this past June 22nd. It hasn’t always been easy, but we loved each other and held on to the mountain top. I love him more today than the day we were married. When I look back I wonder where the years went. We were married 7 years before our first baby, and what a joy she was, and 22 months later we had our son. Have a good weekend you and Austin. 🍂🍁

Hi Corie and Austin. The thing about Rubber Duckies and Jeeps is called, "Duck Duck Jeep." It is an act of kindness where Jeep owners place rubber ducks on each other's cars and was created by Allison Parliament in Ontario, Canada. Since its start in 2020, the movement has taken hold in the United States.

As a former Jeep owner (a CJ-7) still missing my Jeep, I can answer your question. It's called "Jeep Ducking." It's when Jeep owners randomly put rubber duckies on other peoples' Jeeps as they see fit. There are no rules; the whole point is to perform a random act of kindness. Maybe if I put a duckie out in my driveway, someone will replace it with a Jeep...most likely not. If they did, then I would be happy to place duckies in other Jeeps. Anyway, now you know.👍🦆

I have a funny story about those canned peaches. My mom used to pack them for my dad's lunch. Day after day he would wake up to an empty container. No one would confess to eating them and then one day my mom caught me sleepwalking and sleep eating the peaches in the middle of the night. I had no memory of doing that, but finally the mystery was solved! Lily's!!!!! I love those!!!!! I bake with their chocolate chips. I don't eat sugar, so when I find stuff like that, it's such a treat!

Somehow I missed this video when it was originally posted so it looks like KZread knew it and suggested it for me which I'm totally cool with! It brings back some memories of when I first surprised my Husband in 1983 at work, when I bought him food. My car had been acting up and was inoperable, and he had the only working car which he took to work, so I put on my roller skates, knee pads, elbow pads and helmet and threw some sandwiches into a backpack and off I went. I remember pushing the buzzer to be let in and when I told him who I was (he was the only one working after hours at the radio station, he was a DJ) and when he came down to unlock the door, he looked around the parking lot and asked who brought me and I showed him my skates and he couldn't believe it. LOL That was fun! Thanks for sparking that memory...🛼

I'm sorry , that didn't read right . The 5 year old question was to Austin, about the string cheese. I didn't mean the ducks were childish, just odd that's all. Never seen it here in Oregon. Again please forgive me if I offended anyone. Always God's blessings on Y'all!

I used to surprise my husband at work, God rest his soul. That is so fun. I can't stand anything in my line of vision either. One hair standing up on somebody's head at the movies will make me move seats. Haha

I found a "chocolate cup" called Keto Cup. No sugar and it's dark chocolate. It has mint filling and so good. It was an acquired taste because I don't normally like dark chocolate. But I do like these. I get them at Costco

Laughing when Austin said he was telling you that you were wrong for all the Reese's cup people in America!!That they were definitely better than what you were eating. It looked like you had a Lily's peanut butter cup sweetened with Stevia. You two just brightened my day! Thanks Grammy from Texas

Hi Corie and Austin, I haven’t read all the comments so someone probably has answered about the rubber ducks and Jeeps - if not, back in 2020, a woman started the duck thing - it’s called ducking another Jeep (mostly Wranglers). It’s a friendly thing among Jeep owners - like the Jeep wave. The Wrangler has a space on the dash that the ducks can sit in - it’s called the duck pond, not sure that’s what it was originally designed for so they don’t fall off or slide around. I have a Wrangler and I have a box of various colors and types of rubber ducks I keep in a box in my Jeep. Whenever I see another Wrangler, I will put a duck on their door handle - some folks call it duck duck Jeep. It’s just a thing between Jeep owners. It’s meant to be a kind gesture, I personally will leave them on other models of Jeeps hoping I made someone’s day. I saw a pinkish Jeep at Aldi a few days ago and I had a camo pink duck I left on their door handle. When I came out of the store, they left me a sparkly gold duck. Something simple like that makes your day a little brighter.

Yes, Duck Duck Jeep it's a Jeep Wrangler thing, not sure how it got started but wrangler owners duck other Jeep Wrangler owners. I've gotten 4 ducks.
