Loving the shift in exterior aesthetics. It’s nice to have choices other than black metal and cedar. It’s nice to see more builders incorporating compact appliances, solar and water recycling. Yes, the prices are exorbitant but it’s Northern California. If they decide to expand into other markets they will have to adjust the prices.

Hi Kerry, these are great. Of course, you're going to get smack about the prices. But they do come with solar panels which have gone up in price as they become more popular. You looked fine throughout the video, but now that you have said out loud, you are going to be more subconscious about it. Just hold a pen in your hand, then hold it with both hands and so forth. Either way, I really enjoy your videos, they're informative and entertaining (in a good way)! Keep up doing a great job.

The comments may want to calm down on the prices since they are relative based on where you live & plan to put your new house. It seems like all of these homes will be in CALIFORNIA (based on the site visit)- which is the most expensive state to live in. They are based in downtown San Francisco - which is the 2nd most expensive city in the US after Manhattan. Now I wouldn't pay this amount either for this home, but I don't want to live in CA. I also need at least 2 bathrooms & one of them must have a big bathtub, so it's not for me. But many of these new companies are priced right up in this range. We can't have it all, something has to give - there's no such thing as getting a new build, for a smart home, that is modern, efficient, decent sized, good quality build, and has a low price tag.

As to what to do with your hands: keep them in frame and fold over (no crease) a couple of sheets of paper and hold the paper in one hand and and keep the other hand on the paper as well. this will allows you to periodically gesture with the other hand when appropriate. So many builders could build this onsite for far less. Amazing how these manufacturers have yet to find any real savings from factory production in years and years of trying. Another builder doomed to irrelevancy and the back issues of Dwell just like all of these. Would be great if you could do an episode asking all of these builders why the industry has so far been unable to make any meaningful impact on the market after twenty years of prefab and modular hype. Everyone keeps coming out with websites proclaiming they are going to reinvent the building industry and none of them actually have.

Maybe they should consider manufacturing these units in the middle of the country and cut the price in half. Only focusing on California market is not a good idea.

279K - 359K - 419K 😂 Your hands are fine. I’m too busy laughing at the pricing to notice. 279K??? Boxable @ 50K for a much better house.

I like the look of the two bed unit the best but as ever, these modules are only playthings for the rich. As for your presentation, try leaning into the camera as if you wanted to share a hush-hush secret with us.

As far as the price goes...it's Cali pricing and the rest of the country probably won't like it. As far as your hands...it's ok to gesture whenever you feel like it. Conversely, you can just put them on your head to make people wonder...LOL!

First of all the issue of your hands. In my opinion I think you should probably leave your hands right there at the end of your arms. That's where they would be the most handy, hence the name, hands. Duh ! 😜
