Agreed, that was a different berthing than usual so nice to see. I don't much like having to come in at night, I prefer to avoid them if I can.
I was on a 180 foot bouy tender out of Sitka AK. Back in 71 73. How exciting watching this. We didn't have any women on board . Times have changed in some ways. Still tight spots are thrilling. Great video.
Kudos to Capt Paul .. his presenting skills are slick AF now 👌

Congratulations on a fine passage! It's amazing how much you folks have to do to make a passage like this happen safely. Kudos to Capt. Paul and the entire crew! You all made it happen. 😁
Watched your video earlier, just watched esysmans video, he highlights M/Y LOON heavily. Just as many of us asked him to on his last video. The only thing he didn't do was say hi to the crew. Still was exciting to see Loon on another channel. If you see him, be sure to say hi and get him on video. He's a good guy as I'm sure you've seen his videos, if not, he's very informative. Stay safe, looking forward to crossing videos.
OMG Paul hard to believe she said it was cold early morning in FL. I started laughing.
Bro the Monaco Vid gonna be insane! Looking forward to you catching up with current state of being in Monaco!🙈
Nice video, love the Atlantic crossings and seeing loon sailing in the middle of the ocean. Also liked the part where you showed us the engineers and they told us about the fuel samples and what they do during these trips. Really cool to hear from the people that run the engines down there

This is certainly different, coming in early early very early 🌄 morning. But one thing I really like is we see the day to day and night and early morning running of Loon. Of which good team work makes sll the difference. Hope you all managed some R and R whilst in port. 😊
Thanks for sharing. Very interesting - nice done👍🌺👍🌺👍🌺
Greetings M/Y Loon! Capt Paul, your thorough explanations and walk-throughs of what you are doing, what your vessel is doing, what all of our favourite crew are doing, and why, are the reason we flock to your channel. You are in the arena with Brian Trautman of @SVDELOS in keeping us in the moment. This goes for your positions chiefs as well - everyone has good camera rapport and keeps us up to speed with what is going on. How you all do this at times with guests on board is impressive. And go Steven !!

In Port Everglades it is. They maintain clearance around the entire ship until they get a ways out of the jetties and then the Port Pilot exits.

Yes at Port Miami and Port Everglades. I would assume the same for Canaveral as well with The Space Force base being so close to the port.
Great maneuvering at night, know from experience how difficult it is. All those references at different light intensities, drives you mad. Top job. I know you carry a lot of fuel, but do you use fuel additives and / or polish the fuel like we do in the smaller yachts ?
I really wish I had got into the industry, the internet must be a great tool in helping people decide what career to get into. Great vid and love the teamwork. I do wish we were a bit more up to date though, is that a security thing ?

Not so sure about Paul's "WOW"-endings, but an otherwise very entertaining episode.
Excellent video again Thanks Steve and Capt Paul. Nice spot you are docked in Fort Lauderdale near the Hilton. Have a great two weeks before your crossing. I am jumping ahead a couple weeks right now as I had watched esysman SuperYachts just before this video. You are already in Monaco and you are in esysman Monaco part 2 video already docked up. You actually show up 4 times in his video. Looking from stern your view is well how would I put it Looking a the shitty cubicles and rear view of the stands luckily you've a big screen to watch the race unless you are lucky enough to get out in person to watch race. Still You are privileged to be docked so close to the race. Saw 4 to 5 crew members working cleaning up. Looking forward to your video of this approx time line I figure few weeks maybe month . Okay looking forward to next video.

What was the significance of the Coast Guard escorting that vessel? Captain Paul mentioned to not overtake the vessel for fear of getting shot at.
Question, does the craft you are pulling behind you affect your fuel usage notably?😊
@motoryachtloon

Not really we do everything we can to reduce its drag. Light fuel, remove unneeded weight, clean the bottom, and trim the engines up. So the HCB kinda just bobs along behind us.
