I shall henceforth refer to grocery shopping as 'provisioning' - closest I'll ever get to superyacht life! ❤

Just a quick bit of info. I grew up in a Commonwealth country, and buying "provisions" is a normal term. After living in the US for many years, I switched to using the term groceries. Provisioning has become groceries for me. Nina's Aussie background may be a factor that term is used? FYI only.

I love that idea. I think I'll join you in that. Hope you don't mind 😊
As a Sous Chef it's crazy to see a Chef with this kind of consistent positive attitude. I'm sure she has her moments and days where she gets upset or angry but you can genuinely see how positive of a person she is. Must be a joy to work for.

After spending 3 months on our 36' sailboat in the Bahamas, we came into Nassau for a weather window and supplies before heading over to Eleuthera and Abacos. Imagine my ecstasy when a young woman knocked on our boat - she and her Captain husband were finishing up an owner's yacht cruise in Bahamas and heading to central America for their next gig and she had bags full of fresh produce just flown in from Palm Beach for their 4 day cruise with owner family she needed to clean out. OMG - I had not seen fresh veggies like sprouts and snow peas for months. We were the only boat continuing sailing while others in the marina were heading back to FLA. I took as much as I could handle stuffing the reefer and cooking the rest as we gloomed down on fresh veggies. Love you Chefs!
Nina, you should really do a cookbook. Crew recipes for every day cooking and guest recipes for special occasions. I would buy one.

Nina you are unbelievable for everything you do. Can’t imagine shopping for everything you get.
Nina, is absolutely like no other. Others may do her job. But she will NEVER be replaced. She's a trooper. So deeply talented at not only her job but for bringing us along. Hope to see you soon, Nina. Be safe.
Nina is a complete natural and vivacious presenter in front of the camera 🎥. I’m sure one day she’ll have her own culinary TV show when she puts up her sea legs. Great video.
The amount of skill and talent it takes to do this job is amazing, truly talented individuals running these vessels and Nina is no exception.
You really show the not so glamorous parts of what it takes to run a kitchen. There’s so much more to cooking and baking, like planning, ordering, checking the order, unloading, loading…..and CLEANING!
Nina you’re a star! What you do is awesome. My wife and I are OAPS and watching your organisational skills and energy is enough to make us need a lie down. Also the food you prepare for the crew and guests is fantastic. Hats off to you!💪
Incase you were curious why she brought different colours of cutting boards, different colours mean different food groups. Kitchen prep 101.

I live in Fort Lauderdale and know all the Asian markets and could not figure you what Mango Market was. It has been known as Food World for years and recently re-branded. That place is awesome. The best source for Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and Asian food supplies under one roof. Love your channel.
Wow provisioning a yacht of this size for a two / three-week trip is fascinating. Great job Nina.
Nina, absolutely love your videos and so excited when I see a new one pop up! I left my culinary career behind for medicine a decade ago and I still miss everything about it. Your videos, more than most, give me that fix. Keep up the amazing work!

Brilliant Nina! Thoroughly enjoyed!! 👍😀 Phenomenal work ethic and attitude of all the crew!! Keep posting!
Nina puts such a good effort into crew meals onboard.
Wholefoods and Publix... I love stocking the jet there... and getting some of the catering we need. Another one I love is Wegmans in the NE of the US, they are a bit of a cross between the amazing fresh stuff you find in Wholefoods, but they still sell the bad stuff too, so its a win-win! Thanks for another cracking video... enjoy your off-rotation time!
Nina, great video as ever. The amount of work, time and effort you put in is just off the scale. You are such a talented and organised chef. Thanks for taking the time for sharing it! Much ❤! 🙂😋😎😘
Nina; Thank you so much for your KZread channel. I watch KZread to learn things. And you do not disappoint. You teach me about food that I am not familiar with, with preparation techniques, galley management and provisioning. I appreciate your interesting travelogs, your wedding, and brunch at your parents house. In 2014, this Yank visited Sidney, Hobart, Perth, Campbelltown, Canberra and more. I found a beautiful country filled with beautiful people. Wishing you and your husband all the joy that life can provide. Thank you again for sharing.
Nina, you are an incredible human being. Great job with a lot of challenges. God Bless🐻🙏🇺🇸
Just love hearing you talk. Your accent, and seeing apart of the world through your eyes. Very interesting and entertaining. Miss Tilly tho.
I was happy the first thing you picked up was Vegemite. A true Australian
Wow, just when you thought being a yacht chef was a hard job, that provisioning and storing looks tough. Thank you for sharing your journeys.
Nina it was great to see your dedication to getting this all ready. We love your videos and look forward to you returning to LOON. Enjoy your break with your family hopefully you get to Aus.
Aww,Nina, will miss you! Awesome cook, great personality, lovely and having fun along with all ur hard work!
This video was a lot of fun to watch. Thank you Nina
The best part of this channel......Every time a new video posts, I get that much time for this beauty to mess up my life!! 😊

the music you use in these vids is so funky. I love it!
Nina, well done with that great provisioning haul. Dean, well done also. Love to watch these videos. Nina have a blast at home.
👍✅🏝 Tks Nina & Dean, great video as always!
Nina & Dean are the best chefs on a yacht. And very personable I might add.
You are one hell of a worker, very well disciplined and neat. And you do love what you do. There will be much more success coming your way. Keep up with the good job!

Loved it, you are a genius! Hard to believe that you do provisioning alone, so organised. Loved that white top you wore at hand over to Dean, that was nice! Special.
It’s always neat to see the hard work you put in!
On this gloomy cloudy rainy day it's nice to see the positive energy and spirits in this video, thank you again Nina! You're amazing!

Great episode as always. I love the positivity and professionalism :)
That drone time lapse shot of the yacht near the beginning was sweet.
Very nice, what a great team effort and respect 🎉👍👏🌟🐨
Oh Dean looking so calm and confident before the rough seas 😂🙈
I'm imagining Dean puling out the Tostitoes in the med, and making them a part of a nice dish where no one would guess where the chips were from....enjoying every morsel...
That facial expression in front of the knife display cracked me up. Never stop being you! And thanks for the video, it was great fun.
I met Dean in Nassau, Bahamas on super bowl Sunday 3 years ago! the content is gold, keep up the good work!
How exciting. You all are appreciated.✌️

The daisy flower/ fried egg crochet top thingy is so cool Nina!🎉😂
Very cool! Thanks for the tip on the Culinary Convenience store, I didn't even know it was there!
I just sent my husband off to get "provisions" for our home and when we pulls up with all the bags I'm imagining similar vibes but we don't have any crew to help unload. 😂 It's always an adventure to fit everything in our fridge, freezer and pantry for the week.
Thank you Nina for showing me new places to shop in the Neighbor peaches at the supermarket is my absolute favorite. I love her. I always go through her line. Even if you’re in front of me with three buggies of groceries, I will wait for peaches
I never expected to see my company on your channel! I'm the buyer for household cleaning and laundry products for Publix Supermarkets.Thank you for showcasing one of our beautiful Ft. Lauderdale stores.
If I had your level of organisation I'd be dangerous! You're amazing 👏
You are awesome lady. I`m older now, but early on in my life I did my ' mandatory' 7 years in food service and hospitality. Thats when you`re young with little experience, and its either buss tables or work in the coal mine. Food service was good to me because I learned a lot about food and food prep and I got a lot of free meals. LOL. Good luck out there.
Another Great Vid, enjoy your time off Nina.
Yo Dean! Good to see you guys together.

From the protective of a KZread armchair viewer it looks that you did a fantastic rotation, ending in a great final with this brokers dinner. The dinner was not only reduced and straight forward, but therefore courageous in this environment. Well done!

You are so cute and your channel is so fun and entertaining thanks for all the hard work!
Get the Provisions!!! Let's go Chef Nina!!! Cheers to all the Loonatics! Edit: And welcome back Chef Dean!
Trolly! That’s funny! Love your channel!
Great job 🎉🎉🎉
Great video as always Nina! When I was watching you mark up the items in the freezer/ storage I thought it could be a good idea to also color code the tape/ tag (on the shelf/ baskets). For example; 1 color for guest food and another for crew food (if it's important to separate them for financial reasons). Also similar color code for special foods/ ingredients like gluten free etc, on items which near expiration (within 1 months) and other things which color code which can come inhandy with chef rotating and in a busy environment/ day. Just agree with Dean which colorcode the different things has to avoid confusion. Just some idea that pop up when watching this video. Enjoy your vacation and after that the Med season ❤

Love some Publix. Wish we could get one in Mississippi. Nina, I have friends that were bagging groceries (all paper bags) 40 years ago that have climbed the ladders and are now execs and high level managers. Their subs in the deli have always been great.
Nina, I hope they pay you very well for all the work you put in!
great video love it
nina i saw you on the last loon vlog it's called man overboard because women are to smart to fell overboard 🤣love you're vlogs keep them going and enjoy you're time off 🥰
Another great video!
So cool to see where you docked in Fort Lauderdale. Would be great to stumble across you guys when we are in port to catch a cruise. Love the area and touring the Yacht stores. I usually stop into the International Market to check out what little things I may want to bring home as a home chef to elevate my plating.
In my travels I did a one-week stint on a 56' yacht from Bar Harbour to Long Island. I got to provision for the owners weekend first up, and spent so much money at Whole Foods. I've never bought so much crab meat! then once the owners went back to New York we just ate through what they hadn't touched. after hiking on the Appalachian Trail for 2 months and eating rice and beans most days, it was heavenly! nothing compared to your Loon provisioning though.
I enjoy watch what happens behind the scenes of a yacht.
I don't know how you do it... awesome work!
Its impressive the logistics that go behind an operation like this
Happy vacay Nina.
