Felix has Landed!
In October of 2012, Felix Baumgartner will attempt a record-breaking freefall jump from 120,000 feet - 23 miles - above the earth as part of Red Bull Stratos: a mission to the edge of space. The attempt will take place near Roswell, NM, USA, and if successful, Felix Baumgartner could be the first person to break the speed of sound with his own body, protected only by a space suit. As no one has successfully jumped from this height before, it's uncertain what the highest supersonic freefall in history will look or feel like.

I love how they created this trailer! I never fail to have goodsebumps, each time I see Felix jumps / free-fall! ❤️
It was amazing watching it live. However, I was on the edge of my seat when he looked down at earth and jumped. Thank you, Red Bull!
Incredible! We've come so far as a species!
"I know the whole world is watching right now and I wish the world could see what I can see. Sometimes you have to go up really high to understand how small you really are." ~ Felix Baumgartner makes me proud to be human :)
Absolutely Amazing! One of the most incredible things I have ever seen! Peace!
Felix is the first man to T-pose in the Stratosphere 🤤
This little clip is a perfect Hollywood rendition of the reality - as we saw last night. The heroic look, the raised hands to embrace the world's grandeur and committment to fulfill THE MISSION.... That's why I love to watch Hollywood when I'm down - a good laugh guaranteed. Of course, hats off and a huge amount of respect to Felix and also appreciation to his loved ones and teammates in the project.
This video was produced VERY well. Amazing job to who ever made this.
Who is doing the photography...they must have been brave...!

Felix you get mad props, that jump took some SERIOUS STONES my man, nothing but luv for ya.
probably the best advertising and publicity campaign any company has ever done ever.. great job Red Bull and Felix Baumgartner! Awesome!!!
I watched the live stream of this jump yesterday. Absolutely amazing.
This is way cooler to watch than the actual footage.
fantastic animation!!!!! this was great and really exciting
COOOL! The sound barrier fracture was AWESOME!
Great job Felix! I think it's crazy but you have some of the biggest balls know to man!!! Got to respect that your not just a talker (like someone posting here) but a doer!!!
Deep respect of Red bull for organizing such a spectacular experiment. I want to made a movie about this jump! Thank you for sponsoring the research project.
Didn't know about this until I watched the news this morning! Thank you Felix for making my day! I wish my Pa was alive. He would have loved to see this!
Red Bull really does give you wings. Watching the ascent for 2+ hours really made it more exciting. It would be cool to even go that high, much less jump.
My family and I were watching this today. Our hearts skipped a beat when he was spinning.
Personally, this Video is very professional even it can be shown in IMAX !!! Well Done ! -ricky (Australia)-
He was falling over 600mph when in that spin, but he was getting closer to thicker air. Felix himself said he was able to control it, so I'm sure he knows what he did. He used his knowledge and skill to regain control of that flatspin.
OMG this is so cool and nice animations! :) luv it....
Great Vid!
Applause you guys desevered it!!! whooooooo !!!
There were many Sponsors - Not just Redbull this was 5 yrs of hard work. Lots of People making it happen. Lots of Paychecks being paid. Redbull was the Top Dog. The Jumper is the Hero
Great video.
Guys, don't fake the facts. This guy was born in Austria. Don't wanna bitch around, but what you do is kinda sad. Well, doesn't matter at all. Felix - I'm so proud of you! Congratulations! Also the whole team. Good job guys. You make me even prouder to be Austrian and human. You're a real inspiration. You inspired me to pursue being on top. To be on the peak. Thank you for letting the whole world be part of this adventure. You're a legend now.
Great video
The view must have been astonishing for felix!!!!! Well done.
I saw the whole thing here on "KZread" live stream it was awesome.
This is made outnof awesomeness and epicness
Respekt! Super Leistung Felix!
Greets from Austria Felix is our Hero !!
That's truly "one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind". One GIANT 24-mile leap.
Crazy :D I Love Felix
Thanks!!!

That's awesome!
Congrats! You got him.
Geniale Bilder und jetzt hat er es geschafft!!! Wahnsinn
This Video is very professional even it can be shown on IMAX !! -ricky(Australia)-
Absolutely amazing
grandioso.muy buen video
de locura que hermoso se veia todo desde alli felicitaciones sr. baumgarther / colombia ;)
Congrats, Felix!
C'été génial ! Felix.
CGI is really so life like now, we will never be able to tell what is real or not. Great video. In reality, he is doing what the shuttle astronauts trainer for, a free fall from the shuttle in space. Pretty amazing stuff, a new era is extreme sports. Bond tired that once too, he used a scuba mast and held his breath.
I got such goose bumps
Awesome!
that joy to know that I am alive at this time, and soon perhaps we also perform these feats
O cara é bom no que faz, muito bom e que Deus o abençoe sempre.
Damn to see earth from all the way up there & actually jump, legend.
Anyone who say's that yesterday's jump wasn't one of the most bad ass, coolest, most daring things that has ever been done should go see a therapist... That was one of the best 4 minutes of TV I have ever seen... I'm surprised this guys balls were able to fit in his suit. Can't wait to see the documentary with the POV cameras.
Just watched this happen Live on space.com. Amazing FELIX~
amazing!!!
THAT IS SO FREAKING COOL!!!!!!
People saying that this is fake should do more research on it. This was a CGI movie preparing for the actual jump which he did today. The footage is also on KZread. Go see it
This is 7 years now! 😭❤
I am glad the title said CGI, I just didn't notice it first. It is too good. So if in the past people were suspicious about the moon landing, it is going to be very hard to prove anything in the future.
Space jumper Flex is the man damn that was in tense to watch and he not only broke the record for the highest jump but he broke the sound barrier as well, jump 24 miles high and came down like a missel at 833.9 MPH landed safely as well now that is defiantly THE MAN!
nice editing
this video looks great...
That vidéo was post on KZread in jully and Félix jumped in october. But the traiter is amazing. And Sorry for m'y bad english
This is The Best !! OF My Mind
REDBULL STRATOS... the new ride at Universal studios!
not to seem a bit against the man, but first i'd like to congratulate the entire Red Bull Stratos team, they made an amazing thing possible for Felix
trebuie sa fi foarte curajos pt a face asa ceva:)
Space ships that enter Earth's atmosphere are entering at several thousands of MPH (typically over 17,000mph, around mach 23); that's why they burn up. Felix jumped down from a standstill and he only hit a little over mach 1. This video was made before the jump to advertise it.
AWSOME - GREAT! :-)
So true... i think this was the most important and damn epic thing since Armstrongs first landing on the Moon. That was super huge event of our times. no doubt.
so redbull has a better Space exploration program that most of the world!!
Pretty cool vid.
HE'S THE REAL KING :) RESPECT!
He was so good i love this jump
felix u r awsomee
This video does Felix no justice.
This is Great, Really want to learn how to do this 3ds max
the cgi and hans zimmer-ish music made this more fun to watch than the actual footage
awesome
@ Felix Baumgarterl Si tacuisses, philosophus mansisses!
To anyone who hasn't noticed yet, this video does say CGI in the title. However, Mr. Baumgartner did have a camera attached to him, filming the fall. /watch?v=2RR-tzGOyi0.
Best marketing ever!!! PR :-)
amazing..
amazing...
The moment when he jumped, was the most shocking thing I have ever seen, Felix you are the man, God bless you. :)
I love CGI !!!! SCIENCE IS AWESOME!!!!

A guy so gutsy, even Chuck Norris bows his head in respect.
NO ENCUENTRO PALABRAS PARA EXPRESAR LA INTELIGENCIA Y LA GRAN CAPACIDAD DEL SER HUMANO. NO HAY PALABRAS, PERO SI HECHOS ! EN ESTE VIDEO, LO DEMUESTRAN LA GRAN CAPACIDAD, INTELIGENCIA Y MAS CUANDO NOS UNIMOS. LOS FELICITOS POR SU GRAN, EXITO.
I'm from Roswell, Nm and I seen him in the sky from my back yard. Wasssup!!
He made history :)
idk if i would jump man but looking at that scene would be amazing breaking the sound barrier would just be amazing he did it and lived and broke some ribs i think idk
