    FYI just tried this in the clients car the other day. The car is running on a Hybrid Cal (NOT A RACE CAL). Adjustable launch control works no problem. All you have to do is push in the clutch when stopped and adjust it with your cruise control buttons (and hit cancel to see where its at). However with that being said, yes kraftwerks blowers are known to snap impeller shafts, however using launch control at any rpm less than rev limiter will put less stresses on the blower. Bouncing off rev limiter at 8600 is what kills the blower, not launch control at 3-6ish K RPM...

    How did you go about learning to tune? Was it mostly off trail and error and just plain experience? Great videos so far, love the behind the scenes tuning that you normally don't see!

    I have a mechanical engineering degree and I studied internal combustion engine design in school. Tuning goes hand-in-hand with that. The software side of things I picked up as I went along.

    i notice the meter is pretty close to the filter, do you ever run into issues on hondas where you dont have enough stable airflow because of people putting the maf too close to the air inlet similar to how GM's have trim issues and unstable airflow, or does that not happen with the honda mafs

    Hondas are rarely MAF tuned. Our IAT sensor is still used when the MAF is deleted with a MAP based tune. Maybe that's why you thought it was still used.

    Interesting on the rev limiter issue with the Rotrex's. Hadn't heard that but I'm not surprised. Perhaps a soft limiter would be better, though I hate those :)

    Yea could do a fuel cut for the same thing, or if it's DBW, you could limit till clutch comes out, then flip to 100% or something. Half of the tools want to cook hot dogs or pop balloons w/ their 2 step and don't know what 60' means.

    The Hondata rev limiter is a fuel cut and unfortunately, isn't configurable on how it cuts. It's a hard cut that is very slow, which definitely create the problem with the blower. Other cars and other applications we implement a soft limiter with these blowers.

    Evans Tuning Evans Tuning is 6250rpm where you set cross over to high cam? When tuning 2 tables for both low and high cam, should you focus mainly on tuning low cam ignition and fuel tables? leaving high cam tables alone until crossover point is desired, then picking up on high cam table tuning where low cam tables stoped?

    EM1 king Get Kraftwerks...comptech is more for lower end Torque like regular daily/around town driving and instant pull but flattens out in the higher rpm's...Kraftwerks is better up top in the power band...like 30 rolls in 🇲🇽😂. Under 5k it is a little better than stock feel...once you get up in the power you really feel it and take off. Comptech=low end torque , Kraftwerks=high end torque

    EM1 king I am actually doing the research on this right now...literally was just think about that the other day. So far I've found with the kraftwerks that upgrading the charge pipe and e85 tune can get you in the low 400's. Some have put the hybrid Racing CAI with the kit and claimed to gain an extra pound of boost. Still verifying.
