The supercharger unit you have can only produce 450-500hp max since it's the smaller C30-94. The C38-92 is the one that can hit 600hp

Besides the exhaust, headers, and intake, what other supporting mods did you do? I'm assuming injectors, fuel pump, motor mounts and brakes? Also I've heard you have to remove your ac compressor on certain supercharger kits, did you have to remove anything like that?

Yeah e85 if you want it to be reliable. Upgrade your clutch, if your synchros are worn man up and rebuild your trans. Just because one person car hasn’t had issues doesn’t mean others won’t. Don’t cheap out and you’ll be fine. Don’t buy used injectors without getting the seller to flow test them or have a video of a flow test. It’s a high compression motor idc what people say anyone with a basic mechanical knowledge knows that it’s higher risk with boost on pump gas. It’s very hard to detonate on e85 so if you want to boost your si run e85, be aware that your fuel lines and tank can corrode over time or from sitting because they weren’t meant to have ethanol running through them. Same with your injectors make sure they’re e85 safe. If you want more in depth answers find a reputable Honda tuner or engine shop and they’ll tell you everything they need to know to have a reliable build. Power isn’t cheap, cheap power isn’t reliable and rarely is long lasting.

@@almeida8x definitely a E85 compatible fuel system. Idk too much about the 9th gens but I wouldn’t imagine it’s too different from 8th si’s. I know a lot of people who with just basic bolt ons, e85 compatible fuel system and the supercharger kit have gotten into the 300’s or more. If you want more detailed answers I’d reach out to a tuner who sees what is required to reach that goal every day.

This is a very nice set-up, especially with the amount of space under the hood. However, this is why it is best to convert to AWD with that amount of power.

So just to add to this with the supercharger u have the c30-94 realistically they top out around 400-430hp. As for oil changes to the car u definitely don't need to change oil every 1500 miles. I've been running the rotrex top mount kit on my fn2 type r for 6+ years At 10 psi limiting revs to 8400 ( soft limiter ). Its only running 340hp but that's mainly because of the limiting intake manifold design. If I bottom mount the kit that frees up 30hp on its own. Mine engine gets a service once a year on shell helix ultra 5w-40 which is around 3500 miles. The traction fluid on the charger is replaced every 2 years. It's just a weekend toy with occasional track use and still on an oem clutch that was fitted 6 years ago and it's never slipped once! For all u Americans my engine is k20z4 type r engine. This is my 2nd supercharged type r after my jackson racing supercharged jdm dc5 type r running 320hp. Had that for 5 years too

I love the look of 8th gen. I have one too. Did u do have to do any engine mods or trans mod ? I think superchargers are slept on

Don’t change charger pulleys or crank pulleys if you care about charger warranty. These are small chargers that aren’t designed to be over spun

07 SC Element all day its fun and perfect on automatic with AWD conversion. yes clutch was a must its on perfect 433hp to the forgot the mood but did clear smog AAA inspection just have ask my guy did we have about same fuel use when don’t step on it

I run a competition stage 4 clutch so that is what I’d recommend. It’s an aggressive clutch so you may not like it if you daily drive the car in stop and go traffic.

I have a 2008. The 06-11 could last a very long time if you take care of it. I genuinely believe it can pass the 500k mile mark with proper maintenance.

Yes, you will be fine if your engine is healthy. I personally wouldn’t upgrade any pulley’s.
