8th gens are a complete pain to work on. Very tight engine bays. Nice work guys.

Just replacing the clutch and having to remove the whole subframe was a nightmare for me

@@Gen10civicpretty much every modern fwd car you need to remove the subframe to remove the transmission. If you have a lift and a subframe jack it’s not bad at all.

Very smart doing all the other maintenance items while in there such as the gaskets, AC condenser, and radiator.

Ive moved on from Hondas. But these videos take me back to simplier times.

Supercharger is the way to go on 8th gen for simple bolt power enhancer. On my 8th gen R18 I went turbo because the layout is much easier to go turbo.

How much were you making on turbo? I did kraftwerks on my R18. Making 258hp & 180ish torque.

@@nhiathao1451 never took it to a dyno but I bent a rod at 7-8 psi Now I rebuilt the motor and running only 4 psi and car is happy. Probably 160 whp

Did ya consider installing a positive displacement sc kit like mercracing kit? Complete bolt-on, powerband is more beneficial than the kw for street driving.

I have a 2011 w 208k miles. Have always wanted to install one of these. The car hasn't been beat on and never any major issues. I get on it once in awhile and still drive it quite a bit. Still has original clutch which I'm going to change just because. Do you think the motor is safe with added power without a rebuild with this mileage?

What is the best kit for k20z2 engine, any suggestions? With stock internal how much i can go for "whp" with this set up, please advice 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Did u guys do anything with the alternator pulley. It looked like the belt wasn't even moving it since the superchargers pulley is above it. Is it supposed to be like that or did u guys do any aftermarket things to it?????????

I have the very same car Fiji blue pearl FA5. I have 110k on it. Its garage kept with a cover on it. Its been parked since 2015. I wonder how much all that work cost? Including parts and labor. I'd love to have that done. Location DFW Texas. 😁

Kit alone is 4800 plus the clutch and upgraded fuel pump. The fuel pump they send with the kit is not that good.

I’m the process of my build on my FA5. Just bought the suspension, wheels and tires. Already have the Hondata, debating between supercharger or turbo. Was really wanting to get a type r but with the rates and the price, I’m not willing to pay that.

I never understood why a bunch of kids like this put the intake in the back of the engine bay. Wouldn't you want it somewhere in the area of the oem to get cooler air?

But the rotrex power curve on a FWD car is far superior. Rotrex puts the power down far far better than equivalent power turbo.

Well I'm just saying if someone wants to spend money just to spend money sure go for it but if you are trying to build the illusion of power without actually making any power there are more caust effective way to do so

Why an open air filter under the hood 🤦🏼 sucking ingine bay heat is ridiculous that much for a kit and they can’t set it up to suck cold air from the outside 😂🤣🤣🧐
