Dual mics!
Oddly enough I got picked up more by the left mic then the right despite the fact that the right mic is hanging from the bed I was on.
Now that we got the mics working, I just need to find the right balance between game audio and mic audio, and possible reduce more noise. I had a lot of technical issues with syncing things, most notably my music software kept crashing when I tried to sync the audio. The cause was manipulating the sound files on my external hard drive. Once I figured out that issue, the rest went much smoother. I am very happy with the result.
Note, the periodic black screens are due to hitting 4GB milestones on my SD card every 45 minutes. This is why we do these tests, so we learn these things.
