In a few years, Nintendo will make an even better game than Super Mario Odyssey. Trust me. Nintendo is like magic.

I LOVE that two of Nintendo's biggest franchises, Zelda and Mario, have gone into a more open-world direction. These two games alone would be worth buying the Switch for me (you know, once I can afford it..), and that's not even mentioning all the other interesting upcoming titles. I'm so happy to see Nintendo doing it does best again!

No one even bothered to notice that Mario’s fate to save a damsel in distress is being shared after over 30 years. 30 YEARS!!!

Luckily we only have to wait a little over a month! Still. Too. Long.

I accept your opinion, but i really don't agree with you. Super Mario 64 is a amazing game, it has want down in gaming history as one of the greatest games ever made...BUT every 3d Mario game after really surpassed it by a land fill; Sunshine expended on 64's formula, Galaxy want a liner route but payed off as legit being the most critically acclaimed game ever made, and Galaxy 2 expended on Galaxy 1.

Absolutely completely entirely 100% *SOLD*

The fact you can buy stuff in this game like stickers for the Odyssey makes this feel so real.

I first got this game Christmas Day 2017. I beat the main story mode in 4 days with about 165 moons. About a week later, I got to dark side and beat the Robo Broodal. A month later I got to Darker Side of the moon and spent about 2 weeks trying to beat it (I was only 11 years old at the time). After beating it, I took a break for the game, though I’m not really sure why. I came back at the beginning of quarantine in 2020 and was immediately reminded of how much fun I had back when I first got the game. For the next month and a half, I went from the 503 power moons that I had after first beating darker side, to getting all 880 collectible story moons, got 999 power moons, found and spent all purple coins in every kingdom to get all stickers and models for the Odyssey, got all costumes, and fully 100% beat the game. I had never felt so accomplished. During December 2020, I even went back to do the infinite jump rope glitch to get 99,999 jumps in the metro kingdom jump rope minigame. This is one of my favorite mainline Mario games, and still holds a special place in my heart. It was the most hype I’ve ever had for a video game.

I appreciate any game that puts so much thought into taking a SCREENSHOT. Can't wait for this game

This game just looks unbelievable. Suddenly 6 weeks seem like a really long time.

I was kinda worried that they were gonna show us too much, and there wouldn't be anything new to look forward to, but this was great! I'm so happy there is so much to do and that there is new surprises that we didn't know before, I think this could be Game of The Year Edit: Just finished this game last weekend and I was amazed and astounded! The ending was completely unexpected and I didn’t know what was going to happen next! 10/10 game!

I love the Mario series, and I never believed that Zelda was going to be the best game on the Switch, but I do think it is a really good game. I don't have any real interest in playing Metroid Prime 4 either, but I'm sure it will be a good game. From the gameplay shown of Super Mario Odyssey, I personally believe that it will be one of the best games on the Nintendo Switch, with it's charm and levels that seem to be full of content in every nook and cranny.

The switch is quickly becoming my favorite console of all time!

Can't wait for Dr. Mario, his my favorite, i'll have to call it Super Dr. Mario Odyssey. Personally to me he deserves a platforming game

This game looks better and better every time we see it

After watching this presentation, I think it's safe to say that Nintendo is poised for an epic come back!!

Transcendent Sacred Courage The only Paper Mario I've played is Color splash on Wii U and I had a blast with it. Nintendo has always been the best when it comes to 1st party games. But I'm glad to see this amazing roster of upcoming 3rd party games. I think this a sign of amazing things to come for Nintendo fans.

Bernie L The Switch is selling like hot cakes, most of the games are really good, they finally listened and making Metroid 4, they branching off to mobile with stunning success, games from Sony and Xbox now appears to the Switch, they’re working with Microsoft in union on something in quote:Fantastic, they’re still dominating the portable system market to the tee and already on the roll of dominating the consoles(about to past Xbox one in sales in half a year lol), and many more. Nintendo was just playing around, and now they’re getting serious.

If Super Mario Odyssey doesn't become my #1 Mario game it'll only be because of Nostalgia keeping it out. My God the game looks more and more amazing every time Nintendo talks about it.

My opinion on a game is all about the little things that eventually add up. As long as there's not too many things that bug me, it may dethrone 64... I've seen one pretty lame "waiting game" boss so I'm not too sure on that last bit.

Said has been said about previous Mario games. I feel like this will be the best made to date, but that's what Nintendo does best, improve from the past games, except with the Mario Party series.

This game looks like it could be the final Mario game and I love how you can dress Mario up and it looks like super Mario 64 but with out the punch and you can be something. Thank you for making this game

This game is a PURE example of what we expect from you Nintendo. For some time, you have been reusing a TON of stuff. The same generic worlds, same generic Toads, same generic story etc. You were lacking creativity for a while now. THANK YOU NINTENDO for proving that you can still make creative stuff with your Mario games. You have NEW bosses. NEW enemies, NEW worlds, GREAT gameplay, NEW NPCs and a MORE INTERESTING story

Your right about all of that. But from what I have seen so far, I think Galaxy still has a more interesting story (for a 3D Mario platformer). But I'm willing to change my mind if the story turns out to be amazing.

I dunno, I feel like Bowser flying around and ransacking other kingdoms to get stuff for his wedding to Peach is a way more interesting setup than his generic "take over the galaxy" plot from Galaxy.

3:12 I just love this part. It seems here this will be the boss of fossil falls instead of one of the broodals. Obviously, because there are more kingdoms than broodals. That boss though, intimidating as heck. Finally, someone knows how to wield the power of the golden chain-chomp. I'm super-duper excited for this game.

Nintendo are the only developers that make me wanna buy a console just because of 1 or 2 games..

Mario 64 sequel we have waited nearly 20 years for :')

I'm waiting for a Mario game that's as good as Mario 64 in terms of controls. Besides Sunshine, none of the newer games have felt fun to play. The platforming feels so slow and requires almost no skill.

Cosmetics that are not paid or obtained in a loot box... in 2017. Thank you Nintendo, thank you very much.

Munchea definitely going to get it at it's launch day with a amiibo (mostly going to get the wedding clothes Mario amiibo)
