A blast from the past, I previously deleted a video like this years ago due to Nintendo's copyright infringement over a Overworld song that ends up playing right after the boss battle, but this time I cut that off, on the bright side, this newer upload is now on higher quality with 60 frames
I like to also appreciate that this specific Boss fight is what got me looking into the SaGa series and Romancing SaGa 2 at the time of the romhack being released, was never properly translated and thankfully it got localized since 2016 for Mobile and a year later for Consoles and PC.

Coming back like, 2 years to look at how absolutely perfect this Romancing SaGa 2 reference is. They even put a whole WP system and brought in pretty much every single attack the final boss uses in that game! It will never cease to amaze me how intricate this bossfight is and how much time this took to make...
I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH! It took me a while to find it. I used to listen to it 24/7 when I was in middle school and I was the only kid my age who had ever heard of a Super Mario World Rom Hack. I remember being obsessed with all things Mario because I kind of Elementary-schooled (that's a new verb) my way through middle school. I remember I was too old for ordinary Mario games, but not mature enough for Shonen anime so I got super into this game. I would even watch KZread tutorials of icrangirl let's playing her way through this game. She was in college when she was making the videos and I was twelve years old when I devoured them. I thought she was the coolest, because she was a girl who played video games regularly (I was so shocked that they existed). Thank you for posting this video. It brings me back to the days vibing to this song neverendingly.

Romancing Saga 2 remake just got anounced. The non koopaling version of this boss will be remade in HD.

Wow SMB3 bowser throws hammers. You took the koopaling Route. Well this route has 2 different bosses either Bowser on steroids or Koopaling Fusion

The worst part: the Seven Koopalings is the false route.
It starts off normal…the typical SMB3 fight we all know…then it morphs into a boss fight that emulates that one RPG game. Masterful averting of my expectations!

I respect your opinion. I think it’s somewhat cool,as even though it may not be a whole entire original “design”,I still like the of the 7 hero’s as the 7 koopalings Though everyone may not think the same and that’s okay!
