Your vacuum may be different than my Kaya, however it appears your knob is in the opposite direction than mine. The Kaya directions have a photo indicating the small pointed side is the “indicator” or the ‘tip of the handle that needs to point to whichever side is in use’. The larger side is the handle. In our video it appears your manufacture ha everted these. Loved your video. Although it is not aimed as an instructional video, it helped me to understand that how I’m doing things is pretty darn close to your process. Good job on your final piece. I’d love to see what programming you used.

You have the time to design the model (depends how god you are with 3D modelling software) Print time (depends on printer size and resin) Curing time of the plaster (depends on plaster) Burn out cycle (melting the plastic to leave a void, depends on resin) Melting metal (depends on what metal and your furnace) Honestly the longest part will be the printing + burn out + plaster cure Possibly initial design but once that’s ready you can cast multiples in one go It’s not quick, but you can have multiple thing going at once and different runs

You wouldn't have bubbles to speak of if you had mixed it by hand--literally by hand. Always put the water in first and then add the investment material a bit at a time until it forms a cone in the center of the bowl. Then use your hand to slowly stir and mix it without breaking the surface of the water. When it feels like very heavy cream, it's ready. Also, all that shaking just put in even more bubbles.
