⭕️Summary:
In this video I go over how to make grillz in a step by step process. This video will go through each step, step 1 being spru attachment to your wax model. Then investing the models in side the flask with a cellulose liner to prevent shrinkage, step three will cover the burnout process which will get us prepared for the casting process. In step 4 when I go over all the information you’ll need to prepare your metal to get ready for casting and how to properly find how much metal you’ll need for casting your specific piece. And finally step 5 will be the quenching and cleaning which is fairly simple. All information for the things you need will be listed above for your convience.     Thank you so much for making this video fam! You don't even know, I was doing my first investment casting the other day. I was searching for how much water to use for DAYS! Even the casting investment only has a wax burnout schedule, and not how much grams to the dimensions of flask. Incredible fucking video, thanks for all the help. I've only ever waxed up grillz and sent them to get casted, but I love smelting it IS therapeutic. But now I'm feelin to be a manufacturer. Appreciate the real ones like you, who help the ambitious ones like me get in the game. ❤

    If you’re trying to stay in the “dental” range 9k gold would be best option and cheapest. If you’re trying to go in the art range: silver then gold plate.

    Pretty much. A lot of times tho they may even ask you not to put the spurs on because it may affect how they add it to their tree.

    No sirr, white gold is an alloy between gold and other metals such as palladium, nickel, platinum, etc. Those metals give the gold alloy its white color

    You should do about 1-2mm, I’m not sure how to describe the depth other than that honestly 😬😬. Try to prep the video, maybe you can freeze frame try to mimick as much as possible

    Technically you can use a vibrating table the same you use for alginate from my previous video. But it still won’t get nearly as many bubbles out as the vacuum chamber

    Well…I’ve never seen anyone not use sprus if they’re doing the lost wax casting method. Maybe it’s possible in another method but I’ve never seen it done.

    Well bro when pouring investment the vacuum is an important step cause you want to get as many air bubbles out the way to ensure your piece comes out with little to no defects. If you want you can try to use a vibrating table but in all honestly I’d either just send your pieces to a caster until you have the money to save for the vacuum. Just look at it as a way to better you sculpting skills when it comes to waxing and all.

    It's a propane/acetylene torch I think (green/red) so you just gotta buy the tanks and they'll last a MINUTE. Electric kilns will use a little juice but it's comparable to a oven so you'll be aight

    YESSIIIRR went to american school of jewelry in sunrise. But you can go to any school they normally have some course related to grillz. Best places to look would be in the jewelry district in your city!

    That school specifically has different courses in the jewelry niche that cater to what you want to learn. So grillz, chains, rings/wedding bands, etc.
