Old video, just now viewing it, great stuff; however, some drivers seem to suffering from lead foot syndrome, or lack of lockers; slow is smooth, smooth is fast and less vehicle damage!

Unfortunately the 19" wheels/tyres cant take the same level of punishment. The I7" wheels or D3 or TDV6 D4's are the best choice for this type of terrain. Good Vid!

+1000bassnut, Would need to be cautious. I found standard 255/60R18s (non LT tyres) were bad enough over here in the harsh terrain of Western Australia. The good thing now is many top tyre company offer LTs in sizes to suit 18 inch rims. Unfortunately the 19 inch size is an odd ball, as there is actually a better selection of tyres with 20 inch rims.

+Misadventure 4WD Is any one running anything bigger than 31's? Tires cost so much, it's the biggest reason I don't go bigger. Although you guys seem to be doing great on what LOOKS like 31's??? Maybe I'm wrong.

Juan Pablo Hernandez. The guy from this channel answers to another similar question in the other chapter of this video. He says there's options in 17" but only for the 2.7L engine version. Not for the 3.0L version due to the bigger brakes.

I love the D3 and D4, but if there was a D2 in the group would have performed much better... Watching these Lands bumping here and there with wheels always in the air due to the limited excursion it's really a pain
