When I was sixteen or so, my dad bought a Fox at a gun show and gave it to me for Christmas. It's still my favorite pheasant gun, 25 years later. If I'm reading the markings correctly, it's from 1967 or so. No serial number, anyway. I can't wait to get my hands on one of these new ones.

still have the fox .phli sterlingworth of 1920 .of my dads . the real fox which was the '' only '' shot gun he ever needed or wanted .. works every time worn , scratched , bluing most spotted , he never baby it ..wore the plastic butt cap round [ replaced ] and the grip cap worn [ replaced ] think of the number of rounds fired to wear the butt stock cap .... its a real fox that's all there is to know ..
