Fox rifles are back. This new side-by-side has the old look and feel of classic Fox shotguns but with some modern features.

The rotary bolt locking system for which they were famous is obviously absent. Wood sits proud of the metal, unlike original Foxes and Fox didn't use a Purdey forend fastener, at least none that I've seen or owned did.

I have a 1916 A H Fox ,A grade and it is a lot nicer ,withKrupp Fluid Steel barrels and lots of engraving.I won't shoot it though.

I shoot my A Grade (1911 vin.) all the time. How come you don't shoot yours?
