This is my first time ever foundation paper piecing, I've been following along. After I watch you, I am slow but for two days I've gotten the one we are doing, each week. You can not even remotely know how much I've learned from you! I'm ready to make a bunch more! I'm going to do one of the flying geese quilts now~! Thank you. even though you have taught a piece previously, I love how you teach it again to remind me (us) lol.

The pointy tool hack was ingenious! Wish my mind could work like that! I can copy what you do, but seldom can come up with an idea like that on my own. Thanks for all that you share with us! The quilt is already looking stunning!

I can always find a use for a nice off white, or neutral fabric. Having extra is good for me. I tend to look too much at the choices when I do need a neutral. Now I will have some I know I love on hand. No searching! LOL

I can't do English paper piecing anymore, Rheumatoid arthritis in my hands won't allow it. But, I made a few quilts in that process.

Maybe the extra fabric of 6yds is for the backing also. Just a thought.😊

I took a close look last night while we were zooming, EQ8 has figured yardage by cutting wider strips, and then cutting them on diagonals for all triangles in the quilt, so in that case you would use more fabric :) EQ8 only figures yardage for the quilt top, not for backing or binding :)
