I made this chocolate cake yesterday using two loaf pans. They turned out excellent. When serving the slice of cake I added a dollop of Cool Whip on top and it was to die for. Thank you for the recipe. You sure are a Jack of All Trades.

I am not a chocolate person, nor a baker, but my family is obsessed with brownies. I may have to make this to see if it wins them over.

I am going to try this recipe. When I make boxed brownies I replace water with strong coffee brewed with very small cinnamon stick, get rave reviews.😊 Put the cinnamon stick in the glass carafe.

A hand mixer would add more air to the batter. Dust the chocolate chips with flour to keep them from sinking to the bottom of the pan

hmmmm.....I wonder if more air in the cake would be a good thing....oh no....I have to make another cake to try it out...shoot!! hahahaa......I do like this cake hand stirred through, it's just the right kind of "fudgyness" to it :)

Good afternoon, Lisa. I love our tutorial visits. I have also been in the kitchen baking and also making York peppermint candies. Having so much fun. also i went to a craft show today and bought a nice little handmade cloth wallet or coupon holder whatever I choose to use it for. I am going to make some of my own making a pattern from this one and give them as gifts.

I am not usually a chocolate cake person and not a baker but yours looks soooo delicious and your instructions were so easy to follow that I want to try it. I have a question about the coffee though. Wouldn’t pouring slightly warm coffee into the batter start to cook the batter?

Baking powder has cream of tartar in it. It will absorb moisture if your weather is humid. Thus the clumps.

I bet cherries (or cherry extract is there is such a thing) or fresh strawberries would be amazing in this cake batter. Thank you for the video Lisa. God loves you all. Jesus loves you all and died for you all. God bless you all always.

It looks yummy. I would have dusted the top with some powdered sugar. The coffee sounds great. I’m going to try it with a caramel flavored coffee and some Carmel’s. Yum yum. ❤

I will keep you posted! We tried a small taste of the honey and it is unlike any other honey I've ever tasted, in the best way possible!! Evidently this first year we let the bees keep the honey to get them through the winter, and next year we will be able to get some, I can not wait!!
